Judal's past

Something would be different if Luffy was on his life from long ago.

That was what Judal thought. Just for a moment. But a tear dripped down his eye.

"If I could just turn time back..."

His past was full of regrets and mistakes.

Him rebeling against his parents since middle school. Later,  he found out he was adopted.

At highschool he didn't accept all the extra lessons his adoptive parents offered him. He ended up failing..

Too bored to try again he started hanging around sketchy neighborhoods. He begun smoking then. He even started taking drugs at a point.

There he met a shady group naming themselves Al Thamen.

They promised to make him famous and rich.

Not having anything else to do, and not quite the clear mind to think clear either he accepted their offer.

That was yet another mistake.

He indeed managed to become famous and rich. But Al Thamen was limiting him of many things.
At a point he even thought of retrying school. But they didn't allow him.

They also made him grow apart from his family so much he lost contact.

He continued singing for their sake.

He had to admit it was quite a comfy life. That was what he always wanted.

But... when Luffy appeared he realised it was not what he really wanted.

Luffy's strange behaviour and extraordinary everyday were not annoying at all.

Sometimes it would get a bit troublesome but he didn't hate it.

He came to love dealing with that idiot.

This idiot he met by chance.

Or was it maybe fate?

Nah. Fate never smiled to him before. There was no way something or someone so good for him would be brought by that hateful fate....

"Hey! Judal! It's done!"

Luffy's voice interrupted his thoughts.

Knowing the other man won't wait he went over to him immediately to see what he had done this time.

"What is it this time,  Luffy?"

"Hehehe! I created a ship! It's a pirate ship!"

As Judal looked at the thing on the table Luffy was pointing at his jaw dropped.

"Let alone a pirate ship... how is that empty carton of milk with some straws and towels a pirate ship?"

"Ehhh!? But it looks so much like a pirate ship!"

"...where exactly.....?"

"Everything!"

"Just how much imagination do you have....?"

Judal said sighing. In reply Luffy laughed for one more time.

Ah... right... Judal thought.

This is what I was searching for. Excitement. Disappointment. Joyfulness. Interest. Feelings in general.

He felt so happy to have Luffy by his side now...

He believed that like this, he wouldn't do mistakes again. And he wouldn't regret everything ever again......

Or that was what he thought....

I nearly didn't make it in time to update this story xD
I had a lot going on this month so my monthly schedule kinda crumbled up xD
But I did it! Lols
About the chapter. I have no idea what's up. Ask my fingers.
And the way I see it. Probably my fingers will start writing some angst next time. (not sure cause I am a reader like all of you.  It's my fingers that decide)
