Celinas POV
I had no idea how my first day at work would be but seeing how Mr. Stallon and I had a convo last night it would all be good, only thing i couldn't find out was why was his sadness so deep in his eyes, my feelings for him as my employer was strong and i had a sense that he had to be more open with me after all i was his ONLY AS.
Thinking to my self and smiling to everyone who i met on my way to the elevator, alot of people looked nervous and scared making me wander to what their thoughts were.
I got off at my floor and was walking straight to my cabin when i heard a voice shouting and since my day had to be better it was none other then Mr. Stallon. I stopped and turned to hear what he was saying.
"Have you lost it adam, i am trying to get hold of things here, all i asked was for you to be there till i come back to her...." After a small pause i heard hitting noise maybe he was angry on someone but who this 'HER'
"Look adam alice needs me there I'll schedule all my meetings and be there okay, just tell mom she will be fine...."
His voice made me flinch when I hear him hitting the desk.
"God....adam i need some time to arrange my flight, rescedule my meetings and be on my way back so stop being a baby and wait for one day, then you will be most welcome to go to whoever's place you are going to...cause family comes first" with that i heard him slam the fone and he huffed so loud making me think of how angry he might be.
I rushed off to my cabin setting everything up when i got a call on my cabin landline. Pickng it up i cursed for this morning.
"Celina, morning " came his husky voice that sent shivers down my spine.
"Goodmorning Mr. Stallon, how ar ...." i tried to stop my shaky voice.
"My office now.....and listen bring the files that need to be signed the rest ill explain when you come in". With that i line went dead.
I picked up the files that i had sorted out for him and carried my note book and pen to his office.
Placing the files on his desk i stood back adjusting my dress and looking at him whose back was facing me.
"Well celina, i will be going on a short leave and i want you to reschedule all my meetings and hopefully you have brought all the files that need to be signed by me....make note when i am gone you will have full incharge off the managemnet team and the rest will be seen my Mr. Azlen Stallon my father ofcourse and...."
He turned to me and smiled when he saw me quickly note down points that were important and needed to be followed.
"Why havent you seated yet"
"Um, sir you didnt ask me to" i replied griping the notepad more tightly.
"Then seat" He gripped the chair to support himself letting me see the blood clots on his knuckles.
I looked down as he continued.
"My financial progress and all dealings of my account are with briana the finance officer and no changes needs to be made so i expect you to be handling everyone in that financial dept carefully and attentively..."
He glanced at me and slided a piece of paper.
"Thats the name of my previous AS if any queries ask her shes on a leave but she is more experienced so asking her about any details of my account would be beneficial to you"
I placed a full stop and looked at him seeing him looking at me i gulped and handed him the files. While taking interest on the carpet.
"Is that it sir??"
"Yeah thats it, and celina before you go i want you to also have a break on 2 days of the week any day that you find appropriate and make sure you let my manager James know about your day offs"
"Okay sir, is there anything else that...."
I paused when he walked over to the desk and sat half leaning on it placing his hand my chair and the desk. Trapping me.
"Before I go, would you like to have dinner with me"
I stopped breathing as his lips were inches away from mine.
"Well why not sir" i replied smiling.
