Dame Maggie Smith, who played Professor McGonagall, is most definitely a Gryffindor. Durning the filming of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, she had breast cancer. Instead of taking time to rest and care for herself like most people would (and rightfully so), Maggie Smith carried on filming the movies because of her great love of the series and of its fans. Thank you, Maggie. You hold a special place in all of our hearts, you are forever our Professor McGonagall. ❤️
