A Happy Ending------A sequel to "A New Beginning"

Chapter Two:

((You're P.O.V))

Fry and I started to walk away from the park when my phone started to ring. Confused, I declined the call without looking at who it was. Seconds later, the cell phone rang once again and I looked at who it was and it was the Professor. Oh geez, what happened now?? I thought to myself as I finally decided to answer it. "Yes Professor?? What's wrong??" The other side of the phone the Professor answered it in a hectic way. "Come quick!!! Something went wrong with one of my projects!!!!!!!!!!" I frowned then said, "We're on our way, sir." I heard everybody screaming and Zoidberg was making his "WOOP WOOP WOOP!!!!" sound and the phone connection was cut off.

I looked at the phone filled with concern as I hung up. Fry looked at me with a worried look and said, "What's wrong?" I shrugged my shoulders then said, "I'm not so sure. But its probably not good. We need to get to the Planet Express and quick it sounds like everybody is in trouble." He sighed then we began to run to the nearest tube which took us straight to Planet Express. We ran right through the doors to be greeted with the place to be a total wreck. The ship was damaged, some spots were on fire, everything was complete chaos. Zoidberg scuttled past us wooping away in fear.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!?" I shouted over all the noise and I saw the Professor stumble towards me with a glowing blue mixture of some sort. "Heh whaaaaat!?!? Oh thank goodness you two finally came!!!! We have a major problem! I tried to create a gigantic Bender........but something went very very wrong!!!!!!" Even thought this was serious, I busted out laughing. "Well with all due respect sir, it's Bender we are talking about. Of course he will mess things up!!!!" I was doubling over with laughter as I saw a giant Bender walk past us smoking a gigantic cigar.

Bender then started to walk around the block scaring the living daylights out of people and Fry started to laugh. Calming down a little bit, I smacked Fry's arm playfully and said, "Come on Fry, we need to help out our friend Bender." I failed at trying to keep a straight face when a bird flew right into Bender and fell down. "HEY WATCH IT JACKASS!!!! I'M WALKING HERE!!!!!" Bender shouted at the poor bird as it ruffled its feathers and flew around him.

The Professor added a greenish liquid to the glowing blue mixture and swirled it together so that they both mixed in perfectly. "What is that there sir?" I asked while pointing to the beaker in his hand. "Oh this old thing?? This is a potion for Bender so he can get back to his normal size." I heard Fry laugh and I knew he was thinking dirty. So, I slapped his arm and chuckled at that as well. "This isn't funny Fry.....Okay maybe it is a little funny.....But lets get Bender back to normal."

The Professor called Bender over and gave him some of the potion. A couple of minutes later, Bender began to shrink into his original size. "Awe man.........I really liked being tall!!! I liked to watch the terror on people's faces when I walked by......." He let out a small sigh then sat down on the couch, taking a sip of the beer he just got. "Damn that's good." I chuckled then looked at my watch and sighed. "Well, there goes our day...." I mumbled. The time was 6:50 pm and the sun was starting to set. "Hang on! I almost forgot I had one last thing on our list...." Fry said with a small smile and I gave him a confused look. "Where are we going now?" He smirked then said, "Oh you will see....." With that, we both walked out of the Planet Express waving goodbye to our friends.
