Myra POV
I took a deep breath and plunged into the bar. It was London 1991, August 20. I had received my hogwarts letter less than 5 days earlier. Now I stood. Just inside the leaky cauldron staring at the people in front of me. They all were minding their own business. I walked up to the bar and set a gallion on the counter. I barely was tall enough to see over it.
"What would you like?" The bartender said until he saw me. "Here for the alley eh? Where are your parents." I didn't respond simply shook my head no. He walked me back into a side room, took out a wand and tapped some bricks on the wall. A door opened within the brick and I took a step through. The door closed behind me.

I wished that I'd had eight more eyes... There were shops selling robes, shops selling telescopes and strange silver instruments I had never seen before, windows stacked with barrels of bat spleens and eels' eyes, tottering piles of spell books, quills, and rolls of parchment, potion bottles, globes of the moon. And much much more.

I made my way to the robe shop to get fitted. When I walked in there were two of the platforms available for fitting. The other two were taken up by a girl and a boy. The girl with slick dark braids and the boy with blinding light hair. I walked over to the counter and a woman asked where my parents were. Again I merely shook my head. She seemed to understand. She guided me over to one of the available platforms.
I saw i huge shadow outside of the window a large man.
"That's Hagrid!" I heard a small bleary eyed dark haired boy say. He was talking with the boy and girl.
"I heard he was a servant!" The girl said. They continued to look down upon the boy. I felt quite bad for the boy. I hoped that the girl and boy would stop bullying him so. But at the same time I was frozen. Afraid I stand up against anyone. I don't want any enemies. I looked around the light haired boy's shoulder and saw the dark haired boys face. He appeared to be constantly distracted looking from place to place quite quickly. Suddenly i took a step to get a better view and the woman's needle went straight into my ankle.
I doubled over in pain and the woman fitting my robes began to get angry at me for messing her up. But she also was concerned for my health. She asked if I was ok and I nodded. I had to stay down for a moment to gather myself.
When I stood up both of the boys and the girl were all gone. I stood back up and let the woman continue with my robe fittings.

After I went to the robe fittings I headed over to Olivanders to get my wand I tried 4 in all. For the first two nothing happened. On the third I accidentally broke olivanders table. On the fourth I was able to make the lights flicker and the wind to blow. That was the one that me and Olivander agree was the best fit for me. It was a high flexibility black birch wand with a large white pearl ball just above the handle infused with a unicorn horn.

After olivanders I went to the owl shop and got myself a small snowy owl that I named Reyna. She was sweet and constantly wanted to fly around. She kept accidentally gunning into the sides of her cage in the shop. I decided she was perfect. I went and got all of my books before putting all of my purchases on a single cart and wheeled it over back to the leaky cauldron wall and wheeled it through the opening in the bricks, I stared back through and saw a small girl with light curly hair. She looked a bit older than me and had slythirin robes on. A boy with tousled red hair called "Kendra" and she turned just as the wall began to close behind me.

I wheeled my cart down the alley way 4 blocks from the leaky cauldron. I turned into a door that was against the side of the alleyway. I nocked a rhythmic nock and the door was quickly answered by a tall woman.
"Oh Myra! Get inside it's getting cold," said Nymphadora Tonks. When I was 6 my parents were killed. No one ever found out who did it let alone caught the person. Tonks took me in and raised me. She is a hufflepuff and a member of this old thing she sometimes utters about "the order" I think it was. Tonks has become sort of a parental figure to me but she is often out on a sort of job. I'm still not quite sure what she does for a living. But she keeps us fed and safe. We live in a small shack. It's sheilded from muggle eyes and hidden with a charm.
"How was Diagon Alley?" Tonks asked me. "Fine," I replied and walked into my small room. My room is made up of a small twin sized mattress that lays on the floor. Also a small door leads to the bathroom that has a small shower, a toilet, and a half broken mirror.
I walk into the bathroom. In the mirror I see me. Light blonde hair. Cut in a twenties style do' I have medium blue eyes and freckles all over my body. Especially my face. I have fair skin but in the summers I usually get more tan. Me and Tonks don't have too much to eat so I have a hunger pang frame, meaning very small and skimpy.

Tonks has always been my Gaurdian, almost as long as I can remember. I guess being around her so much must've rubbed off on me. After being with her for so long I have picked up the art of self transfiguration. I can now shapeshift into many types of animals.  Tonks often finds it funny to jump out at me and scare me. Almost always I get quite scared and will turn into a bee or rabbit out of fright.
"Come out here!" Tonks yells at me from the other room. I come out into our shabby kitchen and she steps out of the way of the table. On such is a turkey some potates. And many more Christmas style dinner foods.
"Tonks what is this?" I ask. She explains that since I won't be coming home for Christmas she brought it to me. I know that I could come home if I really wanted to. My parents had been quite well off before they died. But Tonks won't let me touch the money except for school things. But today when I went to gringots I took out many gallions so I could get some good food on the train. What Tonks doesn't know won't hurt her.

Ironically both of my parents were squibs. They both could see through and had minimal magic but only through artifacts. They were the only "muggles" ever hired by the ministry. They worked in the misuse of muggle artifacts department. Helping to set the uses straight. To anyone but me and Tonks. I'm a grade A+ mudblood. My worst fear is that when I get to hogwarts everyone will tease me for it but. Well have to wait and see.

That was when I realized I was still standing and gawking at the food rather than digging in. I quickly seated myself in one of the mismatched chairs and served up an entire feast just onto my palate alone. The food warmed my stomach with every bite I took it was like heaven on earth. I half couldn't wait for hogwarts. I half was scared out of my boots for all of the things that could go wrong.

For the rest of the holiday I am going to be working at the broom shop in Diagon Alley the woman who runs it says that if I work for her I might earn enough money to buy myself a new broom. Tonks enchanted me one last year but it's not the same. I'm quite good at flying and hope maybe I can get into the quidditch line up at school.

But until then I have to work and hopefully save some of this cornished hen. It would make an excellent snack for the next couple of days.
