the light shone into Emily's room, waking her up. Emily stood up and yawned. finally summer was here! She picked up her watch. 10:41 am. Emily quickly changed out of her pajamas and went downstairs. there she found her mom doing laundry.
"mom! I thought you said were going shopping today? " Emily said with an inpatient tone.
"sweetie dear, 2 more loads of laundry then well go okay? " Emily's mom said under the sound of the washer.
Emily hated waiting.she went back upstairs to make sure she was ready. She was not wearing any jewelry, so she put on the watch and looked at herself hard.
Emily had light brown hair with ocean blue eyes.she was wearing a white tank top and a jean jacket with jean short shorts.
Emily was ready so she went outside to wait in the car. some thing shiny glimmered under the passengers seat. Emily picked it up and it was a necklace with a picture of a mermaid on it.(picture)
Emily put it on without hesitation.
