Peter's P.o.V.
"What the hell guys?" I demand. "Why wasn't I invited?"
"Um, you were," Benedick Hobbs, my dark haired friend, told me,"We all texted you a million times, you never replied."
"Oh, shit, I left my phone at Balthazar's," I say, remembering the phone on the nightstand.
"Ooh, who's Balthazar?" Benedick teases.
Benedick's girlfriend, Beatrice, a tall blonde with a unique fashion sense, pipes in, "Is he your new lover? I thought that Jackie was."
"Shut up, I'm still dating Jackie, I'm just having some fun."
"A little too much fun," Bea replies. Margaret, or Meg, Hero, Claudio, and my half-brother John all had confused expressions on their faces.
"Peter goes out and gets black out drunk a lot, and then wakes up in a random bed every morning, all while dating a girl named Jackie," Benedick clarifies.
"Peter! Mom would be so disappointed in you!" John says. I sneer at him in reply, considering we still have a rocky relationship.
"Seriously though Peter, you have changed. What happened to Pedro: All Around Great Guy?" Meg jokes.
"That guy grew up and went to college," I snap. "I'm allowed to do what I want, and besides Jackie dated other guys too."
"Now, I'm confused, is Balthazar a girl or boy?" Claudio asks.
"Balthazar is a boy, I'm bi," I respond.
"Oh, I see, is that what all around great guy means?" He counters.
"Yea that's what I thought it meant," Hero chimes in.
"No that's not what it meant!" I yell. "It meant that I was a well-rounded student and I was involved-that's not the point!" I cut myself off and take a deep breath, "It means I can do whatever I want, which includes going to bars and meeting people. I'm sure Jackie doesn't mind." I say, this time slowly and quietly.
"Your sure?" Meg says. "Honey, I've been with my share of guys, and half of them thought we were exclusive, while I was gallivanting around with some new boy toy every other day. And now look at me; 22 and single. You need to make sure she's okay with this. How long have you been dating?"
"6 months," I mumble.
"What?" She asks, indicating for me to repeat what I said.
"6 months," I say, louder this time.
"And you're still not exclusive! You better clear this up! Come on, you should know better!" Meg says indignantly, while putting her wavy black hair up into a ponytail.
"Enough! I didn't come here for a lecture! I'm going to go get my phone," I exclaim and walk out the door.

Balthazar's P.o.V.
"But why did he leave in such a rush then?" I ask my friend Paige and her girlfriend Chelsea.
"This guy, Peter, right; he was a one night stand, we all have one. Not me of course, I'm loyal to my Chelsea!" Paige says, failing to calm down Balth.
"Then why did he give me his number?" I respond, "Do you think it is a fake number, he doesn't seem like the type to do that."
"Sweetie, you described him to me, he kind of does," Paige says bluntly.
"Yeah, maybe I'm just being naive. Not all relationships work out," I reply glumly.
" I disagree," Chelsea responds, clasping Paige's hand.
"You know what I meant Chels," I retort sharply. She was about to reply when 3 sharp knocks came from the door. I got up and answered the door to an angry looking Peter.
"Oh, h-hey," I stutter nervously. Even if it was a one night stand, he gives me butterflies in my stomach, "What are you doing here?"
"I think I left my phone on your nightstand," he admits, looking down at his shoes.
"Oh okay, come on in," I say, stepping back into the apartment. He walked in and went into the bedroom, completely ignoring Chelsea and Paige sitting on the couch, their eyes following his every move. He walked out of the bedroom with a Samsung in his hand.
"Oh my gosh, is that a Samsung Galaxy S5? Balth, do you really want to date a boy with a Samsung. I sure wouldn't," Chelsea jokes.
"Who even are yo-Chelsea? Paige? What are you guys doing here?" Peter questions, just then recognizing the girls.
"We are close friend's of Balth's," Paige responds.
"Wait, how do you know them Peter?" I ask.
"We do a play together," Peter answers.
"You're doing Faustus?" I ask.
"Yeah, I am Faustus," Peter claims.
"Seriously? Wow! I'll have to see you act sometime."
"Yea, you will," he smiles. It made my heart hurt.

Wow, I didn't realize I liked him that much. I have to chill out, I've only known him for, like, a day.

I smile back.
"I have to go," Peter says. "But, I gave you my phone number for a reason," he said as he winked and walked out the door once again.

Hi guys! I hope you liked this chapter, I'm really proud of it! I don't know when Balth should find out about Jackie but in thinking sometime soon, comment if you have any ideas!
