The Secret Behind Those Winchester Eyes

Chapter 2: His Name

'Why does this place have to be 3 hours away?'  I think to myself. I glance at the time really quick '7:36. Oh my god. Only 2 more long hours to go.'

I stare out at the open road and the beautiful star filled sky. This area is so beautiful, there are woods on either side of the road with trees that are way taller then your average oak tree. The woods are dark but not to the point where it looks like a scene straight from a horror movie. The sky is littered with bright stars and dark clouds dancing across the night sky, the moon is almost full and is illuminating the dark sky. There aren't many cars on this road ever so often i'll pass a few but either then that things seem quiet.

' My mom would love this place.' I think. The thought of my mom makes me sad, i really wish she would tell me whats going on and why i have to go meet up with this 'Bobby' character.

I tried to text her after i left the house but all i got as a response was,

'Don't worry honey, everything's fine, it's just some business i have to take care of. Be safe, love you.'  How can i not worry right now? I mean my mom just told me to up and leave the house because she wont be home for a few days, and she wont explain to me why.

My thoughts are cut short by the familiar sound of my stomach growling. God i need food. But the only thing in sight are trees, and the road. Ugh i'm really starting to hate this place now. I decided to take my mind off my hunger for now my turning on the radio. As soon as i do the song 'Stay' by Rhianna blasts throughout my car.

After the song ended i finally come across a McDonald's on the side of the road. I mentally high five myself for being able to keep hunger down this long.

I pull into the McDonald's, it's probably the prettiest McDonald's I've ever seen and that's saying a lot because a lot of McDonald's are jank. The entire outside with lined with white Christmas lights, there were tree's decorated with lights on both sides of the building, and there were little blowup snowmen along the building too.

I drive up to the drive thru so i can order.

The woman's voice come's blaring out of the speaker so loud i jump. "Welcome to Mcdonalds, what can i get you?"

"I'll have a number 7 with a coke please." I answer.

"Is that it?" She asked, i can tell from her tone that obviously she is very happy to be working right now.

"Yep"

"That'll be $6.66, Please pull forward to next window." My god this woman resembles a perfectly good Eeyore.

I Pull forward to the next window and i'm greeted with the peppy lady who took my order. She has brown curly hair that's pulled back into a pony tail, her eyes are a blue/gray color that reminded me of storm clouds. She has freckles sprinkled across her nose, and a porcelain looking skin color.

I hand the girl my card, she takes it. Then within a few seconds gives it back with my check. She still hasn't said anything.

I look at her " Well you have a great day now Little Miss Sunshine." I say to her. She just scoffs at me and i just smirk back at her, and pull up to the next window to get my food. After i pull away i decide to park in a parking spot so i can eat really quick.

I look at my phone, nothing from my mom since that last message. I'm really starting to get worried that something's happened.

"Calm down." i say out loud to myself, "You're probably just overreacting Aubrey just calm down." and with that i push the thought to the back of my mind.

I accidentally drop my phone near my feet, as i reach down to pick it up my arm accidentally hits my drink and knocks it over.

"Shit." I curse, i look in the bag to see if they gave me any napkins, no of course they didn't. I open up the glove box and dig around in it until i find a napkin. I grab the napkin and wipe the drink off my pants and shirt. Then i look back over to the glove box to see if there is any more napkins, but my eyes land on something else.

I find myself looking at a yellow file. I curiously grab it from the glove box and read the name on the sticker at the top.

'Aubrey Davis'

That's all i needed to see to know that i'm going to open it. When i do open it, i find only a few papers in it mostly just notes that are all just gibberish to me. But then i come across the one thing i can actually read, My birth certificate.

'Why the hell would my mom just leave this in her car?' I think to myself about careless that was.

I pick up the piece of paper and start reading.

'Name: Aubrey Davis                                                                                                                                                           
D.O.B: September 9, 1994                                                                                                                                                 
Sex: F'  

I skip all the stuff that i already know, i scan the whole thing until i come across it.

'Mother: Emilia Davis                                                                                                                                                           
Father: Dean Winchester'       

Dean Winchester. That was my fathers name.
