I kept fidgeting in class, and my heartbeats were uneven, it goes from slow to super fast, probably just because the nerves are getting onto me really well. I can barely even focus in class and ended up getting scolding from teachers. Even when we had science period earlier with my favorite teacher, I can barely even answer her questions properly. As a result, I got detention from her for 15 minutes and I'm really hoping and praying that Ethan wouldn't mind me being late.

As soon as detention was over, I started packing my things and when I was about to dash out from the class, my teacher, Miss Rachel held me back and said "Look Abigail, I don't know what happened to you today and as far as I know, you have never behaved in such in my class. Consider this the lightest detention I've ever given to anyone. If this happens anymore, you're going to get worst detentions, you understand?" Miss Rachel looked at me, with her circular glasses hanging over her nose while moving her hands with a pen in between her index and middle finger. "Yes, I understand. And I promise this wont happen anymore." I said, lowkey afraid of her scary face infront of mine. "Good," she answered. "off you go."

I sprinted literally from the third floor all the way to the library, hoping Ethan wont mind my lateness. Oh god. This is my first time hanging after school with him to deal with some discussions and I've already given him a bad impression on me. Ugh my punctuality! I inhaled deeply, really hoping he wont be in it. And there, standing right at the front counter and looking at me the moment I entered, is Ethan Sheer. At the back of him pops out his twin brother, Christian Sheer along with his partner, Emily Winston.

"Hi, I see that you're late? And you're panting. And sweating. Dear god where did you even go?" He asked the moment I locked eyes with him

"Uhm," I have this urge to speak the truth to him but it's so embarrassing but at the same time I'm tempted to lie. "Oh, I just - you know, I was dragged along by one of my friends and she wasn't willing to let me go no matter how much I begged." I lied

"Ah okay. So, have you taken your lunch?" He asked as he walks out from the front counter and walks along the side of the library.

"Nope, but I thought of eating after we're done discussing. What time will you be in school until though?"

"5.00pm." He answered shortly

"Oh wow same. Well uh - shall we ju-" I was cut off in the middle of my question

"I wanted to go to the canteen earlier but I thought of waiting for you. Do you want to join me and Christian for lunch?" He offered

"Yeah, sure I don't see why not. What about Emily though?" I asked thoughtfully

"She's on a diet."

"Oh. Shall we go then?"

"Yeah. Let me call Christian."

My heart leaped as it missed a beat, knowing that I'll be going for lunch with these two bunch of idiots. God, I find them both so attractive I don't even know why.
