i hadn't any dream of my brother needing help since that December night. January had come and gone and i was still at the beach. it was freezing and i hated going outside. but i was i need of fresh air so i decided to go to the wood which was 2 miles from the cottage. i grabbed my basket and some supplies and set off. i now always took me double the time to do anything. what would be a 20 minute stroll now took 40 but i reached the forest.

i picked up kindling and shrunk pieces of wood  then out them in the basket. i hummed a old song. i didn't know where i heard it from but it was my favourite tune and its always been with me. after i collected some wood and kindle for the fire i made way back stopping a few times for rest. when i finally got home i put the wood in the fire.

"happy new year daughter" i screamed and grabbed my wand turning around. there stood my father. i put my hand over my heart.

"fool. what do you think you're doing barging in here scaring me like that something could have happened." i yelled putting my wand down.

"apologies i thought you would have seen me."  he drawled i glared at him.

"yeah right i wasn't concentrating because I'm hardly ever visited. plus when i am its by Draco."  i huffed and set the fire before going into the kitchen.

"you have grown bigger since i last saw you." he commented

"no duh it's called being pregnant. it's what happens" i wince rubbing my stomach. i go to the fridge and have some watermelon i sit down at the table.

"please sit" he sits down and looks at me, which irritates me

"what are you doing here anyway aren't you supposed to be headmaster at the school i no longer attend." i eat some more before i finish. and i throw it away and wash my hands.

"no need to be bitter Alyssa it doesn't suite you. and I'm here because of a recent trip you made." i raise my eyebrows.

"and what trip might that be" i asked folding my arms.

"the one to Godric's Hollow grave yard" i look down then back up.

"so it wasn't that long and i came back. besides i haven't been there since...well since they were killed and i wanted to see them or what was left anyway."

"that is not the point you are supposed to stay here." he insisted.

"it's not going to happen. whether you like it or not in 3 months I'm going to give birth i can't do it on my own. which means i will have to leave" i walk out and to the sofa. i sit down.

"I'm merely saying is until that point you are not to leave this area is that understood." i said nothing. "Alyssa"

"okay fine. i will be here until i brake just leave already. your annoying me" i hear a crack and look back. he was gone.

"idiot fool" i muttered and looked at the fire.
