Chapter 1: The Boy Whose Name is Taigo Toshiro

     Chapter 1 : The boy whose name is Taigo Toshiro.

"Get out of bed nii-chan!" Taigo was slowly awoken from his sleep. Unwillingly he slowly opened his eyes to see his young sister standing before him.  "Nii-chan you'll be late for school!" Taigo slowly raised up and was hit by his younger sister Masami Toshiro who was only 12 years of age. Ever since their parents death the two had been living together. Taigo had been entrusted with the household and his younger sister. Taigo had once lost the will to live his life however he was pushed back by his friends courage and so he decided to give up trying to end his life and instead he decided to protect his sister and relatives and his friends. He never knew the truth behind whom killed his parents for all he knew was that he was to protect his remaining relatives including his young sister Masami Toshiro that was mainly the reason why he existed and why he didn't want to end his life. Taigo had 2 different personality's .He was a shy person and a loving person but when he was in school grounds he changed he became stuck up, laid back mean and not understandable .Taigo took everything very seriously even the tinniest problem would become the biggest problem.He had a very good understanding to things and fit easily into groups.He was ranked 6th in his class although he sucked at chemistry.He was popular with the girls but the problem was he paid no attention to anyone in particular. When he was questioned whom he had a crush on Taigo would ignore his classmates and get on with whatever he was doing. Taigo was the tallest person in his class he wore glasses and had Blonde hair and blue eyes most of the girls in Taigo's class had a crush on him especially the girls whom sat beside him. Taigo never shared his troubles or memories with anyone. The only person whom he cared about was his younger sister. Since Taigo was the head of the family he earned money for running his relatives shop. His aunt was a nice person she treated Taigo and Masami as if they were her very own children. When Taigo worked she had always offered to look after his younger sister. Most of the times Taigo refused saying that he was the head of the family and that he can take care of everything himself. His school life and his after school life was very different just like the moon and the sun he would act out his behavior in school and become real afterwards only returning from school. When he was in school grounds he always pretended to be happy and cool and brave but when he returned from school he would be as a soft caring and a loving person whom had a total different personality. More the less Taigo had an ability to communicate with the world of the dead but he ignored his ability. Nobody in his class knew of his inner ability's as well as him communicating with the world of the dead even if they knew about it wouldn't change anything except they would think he was being crazy. Not even people close to him enough knew of this he kept his memories and thoughts out of the school grounds. Although he had always tried to avoid arguments at all costs there were cases when he was deeply injured and bullied by the higher classes. He was hated due to his high popularity they say the ones that are most loved are also the ones that are most hated. Taigo treated everyone the same but those who betrayed him never got a second chance from him. He took the word "Friendship" very seriously. You couldn't really call Taigo the most popular lad in his class but as I've mentioned before he was very popular with the girls some lads were his friends but some were his enemies. Taigo obeyed his sister and got dressed quickly. Taigo did his early duties and headed downstairs. His sister Masami awaited him downstairs he was already late by 12 minutes. Masami had prepared toast with butter it wasn't the best food they ate before but it was enough for them both. Taigo ate his toast with butter and drank a cup of warm milk afterwards he thanked his sister and waved her he promised to return shortly. Masami had to always take responsibility for her being late to school she was usually forced to be taken into the principle's office but she had good explanations and since Masami wasn't a bad girl who would lie she was always released back into her classroom. Taigo arrived late to school as usual his teacher scolded him for being late. "Toshiro Taigo do not disappoint me ever again you should by now know all of the school rules do not be a trouble maker you bad boy and obey and don't ever be late again!" Taigo went down over to his seat a smirk formed on his face he liked annoying the teachers he wasn't so called a trouble maker but he looked like one. "What's so funny Toshiro Taigo!?" asked Miss Ushida. The sudden smirk on his face disappeared. "Oh nothing Miss Ushida my friend has just told me a joke excuse me for my disapproval." replied Taigo. "You better not be into trouble again Toshiro Taigo..." said Miss Ushida his teacher. When the lesson started his mind drifted into another world he wished for his mother and father to be alive again he also wished to be able to get his nii-san a present for her coming birthday. The problem was he didn't have enough money to get her anything that she liked. Also I've only mentioning this now but Taigo is only soft-hearted to his nii-san he is a complete jerk to others who either ask for trouble or deserve it. When Taigo was asked to read he was still in his day-dream and once again he was scolded by his teacher Miss Ushida. "Taigo don't you ever day-dream in class again." he apologized and decided not to be such a pain for his teacher after all it wasn't so bad being ranked 6th in his class if he gets on miss Ushida's nerves his rank shall drop and that's not what he certainly wanted. Taigo continued on with the lesson and finally the first break arrived. Taigo was invited to eat with Maya soifi and her group. He calmly accepted her request although he did not like Maya. His approval and acceptance meant very much to Maya she even decided to invite him over after school. Taigo gossiped with her group and joked and laughed. When the break was over Taigo calmly returned to his seat. For the rest of the school day Taigo decided to ignore Miss Ushida's teachings and continue with his day dream little did he forget he forgot to eat but that didn't matter to him he had tough homework and family problems and he wasn't bothered with some grades dropping what can Miss Ushida do anyway? she's not the principle anyway he thought. And so the school day ended with his day dreams. When Taigo was finally ready to leave the school grounds Maya Soifi stopped him. "Taigo-kun would you like to come over to my house today?." she asked. Taigo thought for a moment should he kindly refuse? or should he kindly accept her offer? Since he was in a better mood today he decided to be nice to Maya once in a while since he ignored her too much he thought it's nice being nice once in a while. "Maya I must say I shall accept your offer this once." Maya leaped in happiness although she did not show it. Together they walked over to Maya's house. Taigo had never ever been in Maya's house he was impressed by the looks of it. It was a huge house you could say it belonged to a millionaire. It's true that Maya's father was a rich noble man but that did not really impress Taigo although he was acting stuck up most of the time he was really a normal person if you got to know him. In this case Taigo thought that Maya and her family were way-too stuck up. Maya showed him around her house. Maya's room was fit for a princess and so was her house. Maya's house had a Spanish based design a swimming pool a garage and all other sorts of things that millionaires have. "So Taigo-kun would you like a drink or anything?" asked Maya. Taigo seemed lost in thought but he answered her quickly. "Sure if you insist." "Alright would you like some home made juice it's the best company selling one." Although Taigo did not know that her father owned the city drink company he accepted the drink kindly and thanked her for it. After a while of chatting he remembered the promise between his nii-san and him. He looked at the time and apologized to Maya it was already 6:00 pm. Taigo was never a liar to his nii-san so he thought it was best to go and not make her angry after all she should be done with dinner anyway he thought. "Taigo-kun where are you going?." she asked. "I'm afraid I have to go home to my nii-san she'll complain that I'm a liar if I do not show up anytime soon. "Taigo-kun...." Taigo did not want the conversation to go on any further so he headed downstairs. Maya raced after him. "Taigo-kun I mean will you come here tomorrow?" she asked. "I'm afraid we aren't that much of great friends see you at school tomorrow it was a nice day today." Taigo left Maya stunned she didn't expect such a reply from Taigo her emotions raised she knew she would have a lot to brag about at school the next day. Taigo ignored her and left he was a hero to his nii-san not a shameless liar." Taigo returned to his house at 6:13 his house wasn't very far away from Maya's. His nii-san wasn't very displeased with him but he was indeed called a liar for breaking his promise. Taigo ate his food and thanked his nii-san for it and he apologized to her before getting on with his homework by 10:35 he was done with his homework before finally going to bed he over thought some things perhaps it was a bit to rude for him being a bit rude to Maya she wasn't his type but perhaps he went over-board this time. The next morning Taigo didn't need his nii-san to wake him up he was up before she was up he done everything by himself and left her a note. The note indeed said that he was sorry for being such a loser and a complete liar. Taigo left without waking up his sister he was no boss to her as she knew everything herself. It was a beautiful morning Taigo decided to take a short-cut to the school building. When Taigo was half way through to the school he spotted fearsome dudes who were a lot older than him. They all were dressed in the same uniform as Taigo however little did he knew that he was the one they were after. Taigo decided to avoid trouble at all costs however he was showing fear instead of courage if he went straight up with his head held high perhaps they would have left him alone. It was too late to return now and he was no match for the guys either. Taigo was weaponless and the upper class boys had metal sticks and other sorts of weapons. Taigo knew this meant trouble and big trouble the last time when Taigo got into a fight was when he started high school he was disliked for his knowledge and popularity at that same time he was heavily beaten but he was saved by a passing old man whom was the school guard he was later taken to the hospital to find that he had 2 broken ribs after his quick recovery the higher class boys left him alone most of the time but when they spotted him walking alone or walking very late in the evening they would always cause a fight. This time there seemed that there was no one passing by perhaps it would be the end of Taigo Toshiro......  Taigo knew that since it was too early it would take another half an hour for his class mates and other friends to arrive or perhaps they have took the other way to the school perhaps he would really be left to be killed or even worse. Taigo was a weak person he never raised his fists unless someone really asked for it more the less he was rather a soft person but a jerk most of the time even so perhaps he deserved trouble perhaps he even deserved to go to hell for being unable to protect his parents and his youngest sister. As Taigo walked every second his heart raced he was sure they were after for trouble as he got nearer and nearer the bullies gave him a rather strange look as if they were actually waiting for him. As Taigo continued to walk he was finally pressed into a corner the gang that he tried to avoid walked him into that same corner he had no where to run and nobody would save him now he was far away from the school entrance. "So you're Taigo Toshiro.... We've heard a lot about you..." said the gang leader. He was rather tall taller than Taigo he looked a bit older than Taigo whom was only 16. Taigo froze he knew that his fate was sealed he was prepared to be beaten up or even worse.
