Jang POV

Most people would have a pretty big scare when three gods crash into your house though the ceiling. Nope. Not me. But then again, you can't ever categorize me as "most people."

You can't categorize me.

Period.

It all started on a Sunday morning in the middle of May. I was living in the middle of the forests in North Carolina. I was living there to stay away as far away as possible from any mortals so I wouldn't hurt them by accident. I practiced my powers to try and control them in private, or what I thought was private. SHIELD had apparently watched me ever since I...lost control. I became very close friends with Odin and Thor after SHIELD captured me. They helped me in my darkest hour and in return I helped Thor and the avengers in the battle at New York. But it was one of the hardest things I had ever done.

It hurt to see how alike Loki and I were. Both lied to, both used, both abandoned.

I was at home watching Pitch Perfect lazily when it all began. I heard a huge crash upstairs and saw something break through the ceiling. A cloud of dust enveloped my unexpected guests. I didn't jump into a defensive stance like I usually would have. I just knew that these people, who ever they were, would not harm me.

There was no way in hell I would let them.

I first saw a big mountain of muscle with long blonde locks. Thor.

Next to him, Odin stood looking as regal as he always did. What surprised me the most was the third visitor I had. Loki looked more or less the same and he still had the muzzle to prevent him from speaking. He wasn't dressed in Asgardian clothing though. Instead, he had on a dark green T-shirt, black jeans and black boots. This struck me as strange but I dismissed the thought to greet my two old friends.

"Thor! Odin! It's nice to see you again. And by the way, you guys are welcomed to use my door anytime." I greeted them both with a hug and a sly smile.

"Out sincerest apologies Lady Jangnan. It is lovely to be in your presence again!" Thor bellowed.

I winced. "Thor just please call me Jang. None of this lady crap."

"As you wish my lad- Jang."

I turned to face Odin. "So what brings you three gods to my humble abode?"

"We are here to ask you a favor." Odin said.

"Well, you both saved my life and I shall be forever in your debt! I don't see why a small favor should be a problem. And I am assuming this has to do with Loki somehow?" I turned and saw Loki staring at me intensely. I stared right back. I would show no weakness to this god.

"Yes, you are correct. He has served his time on Asgard but I feel that he needs to see the error of his ways, not just be punished for them. So I was hoping you would be able to, change his ways." Odin spoke with a detached tone, as if trying to hide any emotion from every one.

I stood there thinking about it from a moment.

"I would do anything thing to help you guys but I have a couple of questions. How long will this be for? Does Loki still posses his powers? Have the Avengers been notified? And does he know about...well...me?" I smirked at Loki as I said this. Not knowing of me and my past would drive him crazy until he found out. I could already feel him trying to read my mind.

"Don't even try, Liesmith." I said, smirking again at his shocked expression.

"Anywhere from 6 months to a year. Loki only possesses a small amount of his power. I have told the Avengers and Fury about our deal and Fury asked you to call him once you made up your mind. And no, Loki doesn't know of you or any of your past. Father and I thought it would be in your best interests to tell him yourself if you were going to accept this offer." Thor answered all of my questions without missing a beat.

"Why me?"

"I thought that you would be able to understand and see what he did from his own point of view because you are both extremely...similar." Odin said.

I chuckled at this. I thought about it for a couple more seconds before finally saying "Sure. This should be fun. "

LOKI POV

Something was different about her. When Odin and Thor told me of their ideas for me, I wasn't surprised at all. I knew punishment on miserable Midgard was inevitable. What threw me was the girl.

The first thing that caught my eye was her beauty. She was tall, almost as tall as I was. Her hair was darker than black, straight, slightly curled inward on the ends and ran to her mid back. She had incredible eyes. They seemed like violet diamonds that would sparkle every time she blinked. But something about her seemed painstakingly familiar. I don't know where I could have seen her before.

The second thing that caught me off guard was her reaction to our arrival. Any normal mortal would have been shaking in terror, yet this girl calmly turned to look at us, not moving until she saw who it was. And what would explain how she greeted Thor and Odin? So casually, as if she had known them all her life. And what did she mean when she said they had saved her life? What did they mean by us being similar? How could a mere mortal understand me? What had Thor meant about her and her past? What was she hiding? And how did she notice me trying to read her? So many questions I had about this girl.

What intrigued me the most was her name. Jangnan. I didn't know the tongue the name came from. I didn't know what but some thing was different about this girl.

The girl was bad.

The girl was dangerous.
