Timothy's POV

"Kylie,"
"That's my name, don't call me that!" Motary said in a very sterned voice as she prevents eye contact with me as I sat next to her.

She looks at Gabrielle who was kneeling on the ground. She knows that if she helps, it's still gonna be useless, anyways.

If Kylie is here, where did Jacinth go off to? Thyzone said he saw him with his girlfriend. I was shocked to hear that statement. I had no idea of who the girl was! Jacinth wouldn't hide something that deep from me. This is kind of a big deal since I'm his best friend and I'm the hacker and I never knew this was gonna happen. I'm supposed to know information about the enemy. And yet, he's a friend and not a foe.
It didn't made sense if it wasn't Kylie. I always saw him glancing at her. He also got angry when Heinz made fun with talkative people.

But then again, it couldn't have been Kylie. There was no way that the girl can be Kylie. There was no way for them to spend time together since she's from a different school. Jacinth was with me and Ruesse all summer and when school started, Jacinth was busy with spying enemy gangs.
Think, Timothy, think! You're the brains, man! Who is it?

Ahria Lydelle Westbrook.
Seven's younger sister.
Yeah, it made sense. Jacinth was always looking at Kylie's direction because she was always with Ahria. He got offended about Heinz' comment about extroverts because Ahria is an extrovert too.
And of course, he never spied enmy gangs. He meets up with Ahria. I never thought he'd be this clever. I tilt my head to the side, thinking. Jacinth and Ahria.

I grabbed Kylie and dragged her to my car and pushed her in. "Hurry up," I said urgently as I slammed the car door.

"Why did you just do that?" Her hair was messy, and she had stains all over her clothes. I tried to contain my laughter. I started the engine and looked at her as we took a curve.

"I think Ahria and Jacinth are together,"

"Is that even possible?"

"Let's go and find out, shall we?"

We drove by the river a few meters away from the camp site. It was dark, even though morning just started. The trees seemed to cover up most of the sun's ray. I roamed my eyes around the river bank and then-- I froze.

Jacinth and Ahria were sitting on the edges of the bridge, Ahria was leaning on Jacinth's shoulder as they both faced the calming water that looked so deep.

They were talking when they decided to go inside the forest. "Well, we proved my theory."

"Wanna go and teach me how to make ganache?" Motary mumbles as she smiled at me. I guess hanging out with the Extrovert Diva ain't gonna be a threat.

Jacinth's POV

We quietly hiked up above the mountain where we usually meet whenever I excuse myself for training or spying. Its easier and faster this time since we already got used to the trails.
Little bits is light showed up, telling we were getting nearer.
As we walked, I noticed that she's limping lightly.
"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"I can carry you." Jacinth offered but Ahria declined. She stood up but fell back down on the ground again.

"See, you're not fine. Maybe we should just head ba--"

"No!"

I stared at her expression.
She looked startled with what she just said and bowed her head in embarrassment.

"I-i... I can manage." She mumbles.
I smiled at her as she tried to stand again, failing over and over. I walked over to her and carried her bridal-style.

"Now, cmon. We don't wanna be late for our own date, right?" He smiled his million dollar smile and walked with Ahria on his hands.

Ahria's POV

He gently put me down on the grassy area of the mountain where we used to meet up. Yes, I've known him for a while now and we've been meeting up since I was in my high school years.

We have been friends since then and I don't know if I'm starting to like my best friend. And, is that even possible? I'm gonna bet on it that he already have a girlfriend by now. And if there is none, I'm still gonna hesitate on whether I'd let us remain friends or give up our friendship and confess my love to him instead. And by then, I'm never gonna have a chance.

I sighed.
I guess Jacinth heard that because he stared at me for a moment and then he leaned towards me for a warm embrace.
I hugged him back, feeling safe inside his masculine arms.

"Ahria, I think I'm falling for you."
His eyes slowly wandered to me. He smiled at me. I couldn't even get my mouth to open to say something to him.
"I-i...you're..f-f-falling....what?" I can't get my words out as he maintained eye contact. I was stammering.

"I said, 'I am falling for you'." He whispered on my ears and sent shivers down my spine which embarrassingly made me produce goosebumps.
My eyes widened as he caressed my back with his one hand that was still snaking around my back.

It took me years to analyze what he just said but even after realization, I still haven't gained any courage to speak to this guy who's literally pinning me to the ground right now. I looked away, probably looking like a messy haired, haggard tomato right now. Like every single red blood cell went up to my cheeks and just made my other body parts pale to look as if I'm blushing.

And I am!
I mean, I can't lie to myself. I can't deny this anyway since it might just probably make the situation even worse.

I took a sneaky glance at him but then he was still looking at me and I hastily looked away from his oh-so-handsome face. Who won't fall in love with Jacinth? He's tall, tanned and damn! He's a walking temptation...

"You look so tensed. Calm down," he laughed, his voice full with amusement.
"How can I calm do--"

I suddenly felt his lips on mine.
It was soft and tender, like how a raindrop would've kissed a flower. I slowly closed my eyes, never knowing how long it lasted, akin to never knowing time.

I slowly pulled away. My eyes grew wider when I saw her eyes still still closed. I sent butterfly kisses on her nose as her eyes fluttered open, her cheeks growing red again.

"I love you, Ahria." I mouthed as I leaned my forehead on hers. I exhaled as she smiled with her eyes still closed and my hand brushing her lavender hair softly.

I grabbed her by her shoulder as she falls aimlessly on my lap. She rolls her eyes, her cheeks still flaming red from the kiss. I kissed her forehead as she mouthed the words.

"I love you too, Jacinth."
