dan (i love writing in dan's pov, it's his perspective for the entire book)

-

i stepped out of the jet, awaiting the exit, where stood my "soul mate,"

"daniel!" he stood with his arms held out and a toothy smile stretched across his tanned face.

"hey." i mumbled as i jogged towards him and collapsed in his arms, his hands gripping tighter to my waist as i felt his lips press to my neck.

"you better of not done anything bad, baby." he whispered, his hot breathe tickling the shell of my ear, making me shudder in fright. i could feel his awful grin against the crook of my neck, before i loosened myself out of his embrace.

"n-no of course not." muttering, as i avoided his gaze and adjusted the bag strap on my shoulder.

"may i?" he smiled, as he reached out his hand offering me to take it. it wasn't like i had a choice, anyway. i didn't want to humiliate myself in front of all of these people, not in public.

as we began to walk, i took a glance at him. it felt like the first time i met him, a small smirk on his lips and eyes so alluring and innocent, although a personality so selfish and demanding.

how i wish i hadn't fell for you

but i leaned over and pecked your cheek anyway, and i noticed how your smirk grew wider. i quickly looked down at the pavement and controlled my walking pattern, because as i was growing more nervous my legs began to wobble.

you stopped in the middle of the parking lot, grabbing my face and forcing our lips to crash together as you ruffly tugged at my hair and clawed your nails across my back in desperation. i returned these actions, but soft and gently. i did enjoy the feeling of your lips on mine, although i felt as though it was just a kiss, and nothing more. because the sparks had long ago disappeared.
