Hours pass, and taehyung brought jungkook home with him, laying him on the cozy couch in his semi-formal living room. He sits there quietly, studying jungkooks pale, worn face in the fire light.

He seems to enjoy jungkooks facial structure, examining the soft curve of his cheek bones, contrasting his outstanding jawline with the outline of the light. He feels a little drunk himself, but not as nearly as bad as this.

"You know- you've been asleep for hours, it's past midnight already, and yet- you're still- in my house . . ."

He takes a long pause, having the realization that he basically has a stranger in his home, but there was a good reason for it.

"Wu-ahh"

"Oh- wait, you're alive?"

Taehyung chuckles lowly, giving jungkook a satisfied grin once he sees him emerge from the huge fluffy comforter he covered him in.

"You- wha-"

Jungkook stretches violently, yawning like he's slept for years. Taehyung bites his lip, keeping himself from laughing at jungkooks major bed head. "You should go- wash up probably, you got work in the early morning, don't you? I mean, its already almost 2, but-" Jungkook shakes his head, hissing at the headache that's left after.

"I'm off for at least 5 days- I worked extra and- they decided to give me extra time off."

Taehyung agrees with a soft 'hm'. Jungkook can feel the immense stare of taehyungs gaze, he decides not to face him back, covering a blush he knows that's there.

"Hm. Yea? Family probably wants you home-"

"I don't have family with me- they told me that- I was on my own now-  They threw me out."

Jungkook takes another moment to stretch, avoiding the tears that are trying to come out.

"Oh-I'm-"

"No apologizing, please. Please?"

Taehyung pauses, and nods. Trying to avoid the subject, he offers a question.  "Um- want some tea? Maybe it'll help that awful headache." He stands up, smiling softly again at jungkook, walking into the kitchen. A sudden blush runs across jungkooks face and chest, snuggling closer to the blanket that's smells of cologne; Taehyung.

"Honey? Milk?"

Jungkook replies, "yes- thank you."

Silence fills the empty spaces between their pauses, jungkook fiddles with the side of his black shirt. He's gotten to know taehyung a bit, and it feels strange, but he loves every second of this kindness from someone like him.

Before the silence could grow, taehyung walks in, holding a soft pastel blue mug towards jungkook, he grabs the handle gently, eyeing taehyung as he sits on the couch beside him.

"So, you went to the bar early, around six, no?"

Jungkook nods.

"Yes, why?"

"Well, because- i took you here about 8:30, you got drunk too quickly- and you kinda-"

He pauses, laughing softly.

"You kinda fell- passed out, you've been asleep for five hours, it's almost two this morning, jungkook."

Jungkook hides his face in embarassment.

"You didn't have to fucking bring me- you could've left me there-"

"And why would I do that? Knowing someone could've hurt you, or could've touched you if they were wasted as well. I wouldn't let that happen. And besides, yoongi told me- to bring you home with me,"
