[A/N: Finals season getting near equals trouble falling asleep which results in thinking about my books to fall asleep quicker which results in what I think are great ideas which results in surprisingly quick writing and two updates in less than 2 days WHAAAAT
Anyways, here's another chapter. These frequent updates could become a thing but don't get to excited! You know my love for feedback... hehe.
Enjoy! x]

October 31st, 2017.
I pay the driver, mumble a rushed thanks and jump out of the cab. Charlie Berkeley Street's door is a lot less crowded than I thought it would be and in no time I'm standing in front of the security guard, handing him my ID.
"No" he says handing it back to me.
I stare at him.
"What?"
The security guard points at me.
"It's only dress-up allowed" he says rolling his eyes, as if he didn't agree with the policy, "boss' orders, sorry"
I scoff and walk away, looking around. If anyone was wearing a mask, I could ask for a spare one and make my way in. After all, I'm wearing all black so something Halloween related should easily come out of it.
I spot a group of girls on the sidewalk, one of them wearing a plaid, a black jumpsuit... and a bow with arrows. Perfect.
Well, not so perfect. I'm gonna need one hell of an excuse to make her lend them to me.
Come on, Daniel, T H I N K.
Out of the blue, the greatest of ideas pops up. I rush to the girls and tap on the shoulder of the one dressed as the Hunger Games heroine.
She turns around and gives me a look. I know she thinks I'm gonna try to flirt with her.
"My girlfriend is inside and I think she's cheating on me" I blurt out, "a friend of mine just sent me a picture of her kissing another dude. They won't let me in without a costume, so could I please borrow your bow?"
The girl looks at her friends.
"I will bring them back as soon as I've seen them" I add, "please. You can keep my jacket in the meantime" I say taking it off and giving it to her, "that way you'll make sure I'll come back"
The girl looks back at me and finally nods.
"Okay, but please don't break them" she adds with a smile.
I thank her a million times and walk back to the door.
"Hawkeye" I grin at the security guard as I show him my ID again and this time he lets me in.
The club is quite dim and there's fake fog everywhere.
Well, as if everyone wearing costumes didn't make this hard enough.
I make my way through the crowd, mumbling "excuse me" every now and then, but I don't think anyone can actually hear me because the music is super loud.
I stop in the middle of the dance floor and sigh heavily. The club is full of redheads and not wearing a black jumpsuit doesn't rule a lot of people out.
