(Y/N POV)

Baby took me back to the backstage area and told me to wait with Foxy while she... took care of something. I had an idea of what that something was, but I decided to ignore it for the time being. I didn't need to worry about that. There was muffled shuffling on the other side of the curtain along with the occasional metal thunk. Baby had taken a few minutes to explain the dangers of me staying before she walked Foxy and I back here, going into vague detail about how Ballora was... not exactly the friendliest when it came to children. When I asked why, Baby went silent and chose not to respond other than the word "programming". It was unsettling, but then again, so was this whole situation.

"Y/N, about the conversation we had earlier, I'd like to apologize for any ill-intentioned undertones you may have heard from me. I'd never harm a child, as it is my sole purpose to entertain them! My shows are the best after all, I'd never tarnish my reputation with something like that." Funtime Foxy spoke suddenly, making me jump. I looked over at her, hearing the genuineness in their words.

"I understand. I was just... freaked out, earlier. And any logical person probably still would be freaked out, I guess. But hey... here we are." I smiled. Foxy's eyes widened a bit, showing their amber eyes more clearly. "I forgive you, I know you didn't mean anything by what you said."

"Thank you. I do really enjoy your company, it would be a shame if I scared you away from one poorly-thought out comment!" Foxy always followed right behind Baby as my favorite, so I don't think I'd be able to be mad at him for long anyways. There was a sudden loud crash, crack and thud all at once. It made me jump, and it made Foxy take a protective stance in front of me.

"W-Was... Was that...?"

"Ballora. Come, come. We need to hide you." Foxy gently pushed me back in the direction of his auditorium, ears twitching and facing backwards at some point. I thought we were just going to hide in the auditorium, but Foxy opened a door and pushed me in.

"Where are we...?" I mumbled, knowing Foxy wasn't going to be able to hear me. Foxy placed their heavy hands on my shoulders and called out, "Freddy! Freddy, darling, I need your assistance!"

"F-F-Foxy! Hey!" A glitching voice called back. I was then met with the sight of a six foot tall Funtime Freddy, Bon-Bon puppet and all.
"Oh, dear, have they still not fixed your voice box? I'm starting to wonder if they ever will... Hm." Foxy hummed, concern slipping into their tone. She then shook her head and patted my shoulder. "That's not what the spotlight should be on though, is it?"

"O-O-Oh, a ch-child!" Freddy exclaimed in delight, making his way towards me. The Bon-Bon puppet spoke in a squeaky voice next, "Calm down Freddy! You don't want to hurt yourself or them."

"Right! H-How are you, ch-child?"

"Y/N. And um, Ballora is... active. Out and about, if you will."

"Not necessarily out... yet. She is 'about', though." Foxy's dramatic tone calmed when he was worried, I noted. "I need you to hide them, Freddy. Just for now, until Baby is back from cleaning up a bit of a mess she made earlier."

"Of c-co-course!" Freddy hit a button on his chest and it opened up... his... chest. I gasped and took a step back, hiding behind Foxy. Ah, yes. There was the fear that should have kicked in a while ago. Freddy's mood seemed to dampen at seeing me afraid.

"Hey, don't worry, Freddy may seem a bit scary, but he'd never hurt anyone! All he wants is to make people happy. The storage bank has a bit of a... scary history, but he'll never harm you. Baby would have the bear's head if he did..." Foxy said that last part more to himself (and Freddy, I assume).

"O-Okay... um. Freddy, I guess... I'm getting in there? You can let me out after, right?" Freddy nodded, not saying a word.

"You saw him open it, remember! Don't worry, it's all going to be okay!" Bon-Bon comforted me as Foxy picked me up and gently tried to put me into the storage bank. I managed to fit (barely). Before Freddy closed it, Foxy left us off with a warning.

"Don't make a sound, remember! Ballora may see like a bat, but she can hear like one too. I'll be off to find Baby and hopefully we won't run into the ballerina on the way back. See you soon, you two!" Foxy left and shut the door with a loud slam behind her. The storage bank was closed and I could hear the muffled voices of Bon-Bon and Freddy. They were talking to each other, and I managed to catch a few sentences about me.

"Freddy, what do you mean, you don't remember them? They're the one who broke us out of our programming!" Bon-Bon said. Freddy paused before laughing. I shook a little as he did.

"O-Oh, that's right, isn't it? They-They were always nice! They-ey liked to talk to u-u-us!" Freddy seemed fond of me. It was comforting in a way, even if I was stuck in the chest cavity of a bear robot seemingly made to kill people. It was an odd comfort, but hey. It was better than some peoples'.

"Freddy? I don't... I don't know if you can hear me, and I know I'm supposed to be quiet, but is Ballora going to hurt me? Or-Or Baby and Foxy?" I stammered a few times, and my voice echoed back on me, but I eventually got the words out. Freddy didn't answer for a moment. He seemed to be at a loss for words. "Do I need to repeat the question? Well, um... is Ballora going to--" Freddy cut me off.

Question Of the Chapter (QOTC): If you could have any superpower in the world, what would you have?

Answer of the Chapter (AOTC): I personally would probably have invisibility or flight because like... they're cool. Maybe telekinesis but those are basic answers adgfhd--
