...

It's a Friday morning. Kristen is sitting in her kitchen, wearing a t-shirt two sizes too big and a pair of sweatpants that Cole has sunk her teeth into once or twice. She takes a sip of her coffee, a small smile playing on her lips. In front of her on the countertop is a script lying, but not just any script. It's a new script, that she's been sent. The director is someone she's been wanting to work with for a long time, Stephanie Evans, who's made a few – but amazing – indie movies. She called Kristen the other day, asking her – personally – if she was interested in being in her new movie. Kristen was in before she'd even heard what the movie was about. Stephanie gave her a summary, and Kristen was hooked. The director promised to send the actress the script within a couple of days.

Kristen takes her black glasses from where they're perched on top of her head in her messy morning hair, and brings them down to her face, resting them on the bridge of her nose.
Two and a half hour later when she's read the script twice, she calls Stephanie.

"I need to be in your movie," Kristen tells the woman, trying her hardest not to sound too desperate.
"Hello Kristen," Stephanie greets her, chuckling slightly.
"Uhm, hello. Okay, I just read the script. Twice. And pardon my French, but I really fucking want a role. If you still want me, that is," she says, hugging the script to her chest.
"I do, I do. I couldn't be happier that you're in. It's funny, I actually found the actor for Daniel fifteen minutes ago. And uh, I'm pretty excited to see you two bring this story to life. I think you're the perfect pair."
"You know that without even have seen us acting together?" Kristen asks, a little surprised by the director's trust to her and her possible new co-star.
"No, I have seen you act together. You've worked with him before. Your chemistry is quite amazing."
"A fourth movie with Jesse?" Kristen asks with a smirk, half-laughing at the idea. Directors have shown to have a weak spot for them on the big screen together over time.
"Uhm, no, not Eisenberg," Stephanie says. "Daniel will be played by Robert Pattinson."

Of course, is Kristen's first thought, without even having a reasonable explanation why it is. She's silent for what feels like a solid five minutes. She's in a weird state where her thoughts are racing but her brain feels empty.
"Uh, okay," she says, not knowing what else to say.
"Is that okay?" Stephanie asks Kristen, not knowing what to think of her silence. "I saw him act out a scene today. He's perfect for the role, Kristen," she tells her.
I don't doubt it, Kristen thinks. Thinking about the character Daniel in the script, she can easily imagine Rob playing the role. She tries to replace him with other actors, but as soon as she's seen Rob as Daniel, she can only see Rob as Daniel.
"Yeah, sure. I think he'd make a pretty good Daniel as well, plus I've always wanted to work with him again," Kristen says, before she has time to overthink it.
Stephanie says something about finally having her two stars now and sending Kristen some information on pre-production and filming. Kristen half-listens; she can't stop thinking about doing a movie with Rob.

...

"Hello?" Rob greets as he answers his phone.
"Hey Rob, it's Stephanie Evans. We spoke on the phone an hour ago."
"Oh, yes. Have you found someone else for the role?" He asks, half-playful, half-serious. Stephanie chuckles.
"No, you're perfect for the role, Rob, trust me. I'm even more sure of that now that I've found your Chloe, which is actually why I'm calling."
"Oh, who's gonna be Chloe?" He asks, curious. He fell in love with Chloe as he read the script, and has a very clear image of what she looks like in is mind.
"Kristen Stewart."

A scene from the past plays in his mind, as he holds his breath.

"Good choice," he tells Stephanie, smiling. She chuckles again.
"I think so too. Kristen's amazing, and so cute. She's really excited about the movie. I am too. I can't wait to start filming, see you and Kristen as Daniel and Chloe."
"I can't wait either."
...

"So what do you say?" the cringe-worthy voice asks him over the phone.
"Uh..." he mutters.
A movie about a vampire who falls in love with a human girl and constantly has to balance between his blood lust and his sexual desire for her?
Sure, he is broke and desperate for money. But is he that broke and desperate for money?
"Who's gonna play Bella?" He asks, trying to buy himself some time to think about it.
"Kristen Stewart," Catherine replies.
He gasps, immediately bombarded with pictures of a green-eyed brunette with a guitar, the name "Kristen Stewart" written across a black screen, the same green-eyed brunette kissing him in a dream, and dressed in various formal gowns under a Google search.
"When's the audition?"
