What Should Have Been My Forever

Where it all began.........

It all started sophomore year of high school. Chris and I met. I'm not really sure how we met to be honest. Anyways, we had Earth Science together and media as well. We wouldn't really talk during earth science because Ms.Alves would put him in a table by himself because he was always talking to one of his close friends at the time Alieme.

My best friend at the time was Julissa. The four of us would always yell out "Squaddddd" in the middle of the hallway whenever we would see each other. It was just our thing. Chris low key had a thing for me but I never realized it. I would always ask him to get me hookah pens since he had a hook up. I would always try to pay him, but he always said " it's okay" or "don't worry about it".

Well fast forwarding, all the way to June when it was regents week. We all had to take our Earth Science and Geometry regents. We took our Earth Science regent around 9 in the morning and that same day we had our Geometry one around 1 in the afternoon. 
After our first test, me and Julissa were walking on Cross bay trying to kill time because we finished our test early and of course who's driving passed us yelling SQUADDDD, Alieme and Chris. So I yelled " come back" and Chris pulled over. I said to Chris and Alieme who was in the passenger seat "where are you guys going?"  Chris replied " to go get Sasnarine". Sasnarine was Chris best friend. I then said " I want to go". I looked at Julissa to reassure that she wanted to go too, she nodded and we hopped in the car.

We drove all the way to Sasnarines house blasting music. We later realized that cops were following us, assuming it's because the music was too loud so Chris pulled over to the White Castle parking lot that's right by another high school John Adams. We just stood there so the cops would leave us, but no of course Alieme just had to go inside and get a smoothie or whatever it was that he bought. Thankfully the cops stopped following us and drove off.
