When Christmas Meets Comedy

The Problems With Mistletoe

Minato Namikaze, a married man with spiky blonde hair and bright blue eyes, is hosting a Christmas party. You have to wear your pajamas to attend. Many people know the man.

His wife and him had spent months working out how this was going to work. They bought and prepared a lot of hot chocolate. Other stuff they bought include bit are not limited to the following: marshmallows (to go in the hot chocolate), sugar cookies, any other kinds of cookies, Santa hats, wreaths, Christmas movies, and mistletoe.

Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze, a woman with long red hair and blue eyes, is hanging mistletoe in the most unreasonable places. Even one at the bathroom door.

Eventually, people start arriving. Even Fugaku Uchiha, the clan head of the Uchiha clan, is present with his wife, Mikoto, and his son, Itachi.

Minato greets them and warns them, "Kushina has been hanging mistletoe around. Be careful. She wants you to kiss anybody you get stuck under with."

Mikoto laughs and runs off to find her best friend after telling her son to stay with his father. Minato whispers, "She'll even make you kiss guys."

"Really?" Fugaku asks.

With Kushina and Mikoto…

"Are the preparations set?"

"Yes, dattebane!" Kushina exclaims excitedly.

"Good, time for phase two," Mikoto tells her.

"Yeah!"

Kushina and Mikoto walk off in the direction of their respective husbands.

With Obito, Rin, and Kakashi…

The three of them are talking. Rin looks around while the boys are fighting. Then, she grins mischievously.

"If you're going to fight, do it over there!" she scolds them, pointing in a seemingly random direction.

The boys slowly move their arguing towards the suggested direction.

Kushina stops by and asks, "Are you ready for Phase Two?"

"Yes, I am."

"Then, Mikoto and I will get ready too. The word is 'tomato'."

"Alright. 'Tomato'. Got it."

Kushina runs off to Minato and Fuguka who's with his wife and son.

"Why don't you guys move away from the doorway and stay a while? Come on," Kushina asks, glancing over at Mikoto momentarily.

They follow Kushina who passes by Rin and tells them, "We might have a tomato or two."

Rin nods casually in response.

Mikoto says, "Here is good. We'll get you some food."

Minato watches as the women leave. He looks around and states, "They have something planned."

"And we're the victims," Fugaku adds. He suddenly remembers something.

He freezes and slowly looks up, hoping that it isn't what he thinks. It is. It is what he thinks. Hanging from a string taped to the ceiling is…

Minato asks, "What are loo-?"

He stares in horror. Both men manage to break their eyes away from the Christmas item and look at each other awkwardly. Their faces both turning bright red.

"So, uh…"

"We have to."

"The rules?"

"The rules. Let's just get this over with."

"Yeah."

They stare at each other longer. Suddenly, Fugaku is pushes forward my his wife who was suddenly behind him, and Minato is pushed by his own wife. Their lips essentially meet in the end. Try two married men stand there shocked for a second before pulling away awkwardly.

With Kakashi and Obito…

The boys are fighting. They had walked over here because Rin had told them to fight elsewhere, specifically in this place.

The before-mentioned girl waltzes right on over to the boys. She points up. Above the heads. They look at her confused. Kakashi is the first to understand and look up to see what's she's referring to. It's hard to see with nearly half of his face covered, for he wears a mask that covers from his nose down, but he's horrified. Obito however is still confused. Rin tilts her head up to look up at it af looks back down, meeting his eyes.

After a few seconds, he nods with an, "Oh," finally realizing want she wants. He looks up and exclaims, "Rin! I can't! Especially not Bakashi!"

"Yeah, I don't even like seeing his face much less kiss it," Kakashi agrees.

"Hey! I take offense to that!" Obito yells angrily.

"Your point is…?" Kakashi asks him, making Obito more mad.

"Well, I'll do it! I bet you're ugly anyways! It won't mean much," Obito tells him, glaring at him with anger and determination.

Obito reaches for the mask and pulls it down and places his lips on Kakashi's. He pulls away and discovers a normal face. A red face. But just a normal one. No disfigurations or anything as he thought there would be. Kakashi quickly covers his face again followed by punching the black-haired boy and waking away.

Obito looks up and stutters, "Um, well, Rin, you see, the mistletoe, and you and I and-"

His face is bright red. Rin giggles and kisses his cheek. He sighs and promptly faints.

This is the best Christmas party ever, he thinks.
