Prologue - Dolls

As soon as the window open, two little dolls floated inside, both human children, one who adorned a red cloth wrapped around his leg and held a plastic knife, the other a girl, who sported a pea-green sweater with a single stripe going across it. It grabbed a hold of the dolls, setting them both atop the empty part of the opened sewing-kit. First came the knife wielding human, much work had to be done. It tore the young boys hair off, one strand at a time, cutting open his overalls and sweater beneath. Next came his button eyes, torn from his face, as was his mouth cut right open and cotton from inside oozed grom his wid grin. He was left empty inside so it could turn him inside out to the white side, it was not that human no more as its ears were removed. It refilled the husk of a doll with more cotton, after finishing, it sewed the dolls opened areas back up. A new pair of bright black buttons were sewn into the dolls empty face. Lastly came the dolls clothing, it cut into a blue cloth, many times, then all the cloth was sewn together to make a blue raincoat and matching rainboots. Next came the other human doll, matching the same process as the now new skeketon blue doll, though the skeletons year younger sibling wore a green raincoat with green rainboots. The now skeleton dolls were placed towards the window floating away to find their new homes and family.
