MY STORY

final day of exam

We all attend Marylin International High school aka MIHS in Ibadan, Nigeria. I and my two best friends are the most popular girls in MIHS. According to Nigeria's educational system , schools choose prefects to help in maintaining rules and regulations in the school. My friends and I are prefects, and Payton is the assistant head girl and Tracy is the sport prefect girl. I was given head girl which came as an honour to me since any girl will die to be in my position especially in a school as prestigious as mine .

I'm not a nerd but I'm very smart . I am always the best candidate for quiz competitions , brain games . I'm an art student and the only subject I suck at is calculus where I always got between 80-90% with serious hard work . scores below 90 are always my worse and calculus always wins the price.

Like I said I and my two best friends are the most respected girls in the school. Not even the principal messes with us since we were gifts to the school .I and my friends are unbeatable in our different fields. I'm into quiz competitions , brain games , essay writing , painting etc , Tracy is into sports and Payton is good at debate and loves science.

Today is the last day of exam and as the head girl it means time for the real hard work is here . Peyton and Tracy finished their last paper before me .
 I just got out of the exam hall tired and frustrated only to be bombarded with series of stupid questions "like  was the exam hard for you ". I sigh loudly knowing that my two bff have decided to torment me in revenge for our final maths exam for junior high .

 "Do you know that Nathan is taking Nike to prom ?" Payton says in a hushed tone as we headed to the hall for the last general assembly this school year. Payton is the one that always finds out about something when it's stale. We always act excited even though we already know what she is talking about. Like I said I and my best friends are the most popular but that doesn't mean we don't have rivals . Nike Adeyemi is the former head prefect girl and is also very popular. She's the girl when it comes to fashion and attractiveness . I wish she had a good heart but no. Nathan Marshall is an American and in senior year and he's the boy most girl would dream about . he's the all rounder with good looks , perfect smile , blue eyes , educational star, sport star even the teachers are jealous of him. And he is the jerk I talked about last time. Ever since Nike overhead that I liked him during one of my conversations with my bff , she made it her quest to make me jealous . she has always been jealous of me. So she wanted to flaunt something at me. She had the perfect opportunity in the past since Nathan was also the head boy and they had to work together.

Since I already made the decision to forget about him I'm not bothered about the topic anymore. They are perfect for each other. The bitch and the jerk.
Its almost time for the assembly ,   let's work faster the assembly hall is still far away " Tracy says while dragging Peyton and I in swift motion towards the assembly hall.  We walked faster towards the hall knowing that I was to give a speech at the assembly. And we still have to greet tons of fellow students like us.
