"TTRIIIIING TTRIIIIING"

The alarm just went off, you know what that means, it means it's the start of my tedious day, it sounded as if hell was calling me. I looked at my room, realizing it was already 7:00 AM. I rushed to the bathroom downstairs. Each step that I took, made all the dust fall from the bottom of the stairway, I heard my mom. "Sweetie do you-- " she was about to ask me something but I was too focused on getting in the bathroom. As I was running, I got a glimpse of my dad smoking his cigarette while reading his newspaper, it felt like everything was in slow-motion, with his hot coffee right next to him he looked at me and his head swiveled back into reading.

At the school...

I was walking towards the hall way, and I felt the cold breath of the wind passed through me while the warmth aura of the sun coming from the window, kissing my skin all the way to my classroom.
I sat down in class, everyone was chattering, papers were being thrown at each other. And I'm at the corner by myself. Being alone is my forte, it's not that I hate people, it's just that I desire to be around interesting people that are real, not like here, everyone is trying to be someone they're not. I was thinking about leaving the room, and suddenly... A girl came inside the class, everyone stopped. She sat down in front and I was sitting at the back. She looked at me, her eyes were bright as the sky, her alluring white hair brushes down her pale white skin, I have never seen a girl like her.

"Miss, will you stand here and introduce yourself." Our teacher excitedly told her while pointing to the floor. She stood in front of the class.. Everyone in the class were astonished, as she started to speak:

"My name is Emma, and I came from a place called...."

Everyone was waiting for her to finish her sentence.

"A place called Freedom..."

Freedom? Clearly she's joking, but she seems to be serious about it. Everyone started to giggle. She went on her sit, and the class continued.

The class ended, I was walking down the street, listening to some music, exploring, observing my surroundings, but I still can't cease myself from thinking about that girl.
Out of the blue, she appeared before my very eyes. She is acting a bit strange, I watched her... And all of sudden, she started to run. I got curious, so I followed her.

She kept on running, while as for me I kept on following her.

She suddenly stopped from running, she turned facing this huge wall of shrubs... She gazed towards my direction, luckily I was able to hide. But I doubt that she didn't see me.

I went home, I ran to my room upstairs, passing by my family eating dinner. I hurled my bag on the floor and went on my desk. And I found myself rummaging around, I used to write stories on this when I was a kid with my grandpa. But I stopped when he left us. But he is with grandma now. And I know he's happy.

"TTRIIIIING, TTRIIIIING"

Ah! What a sweet, sweet sound in my ears. I saw the time, I got up earlier than yesterday. I opened the window, and the luminosity of the sunlight, lit up the whole room. The scenery stunned me. I love how the skies formed itself. I love how the atmosphere feels, the coolness of it brings so much memory when I was a kid playing outside, being free. I took a moment just to enjoy and absorb.

"I hope grandpa's witnessing this right now." I whispered to myself.
