Alan's P.O.V
" WHAT?! YOUR PREGNANT?!" I shouted in shock. I'm going to be a dad?! Damn it! Why didn't I use protection?! 'Because you weren't thinking!' my wolf snapped at me. My wolf and I have been arguing for the past month. He doesn't like the fact I've been ignoring Beth, our mate.
I was embarrassed to face her after what we did. I was embarrassed to talk text or email her. I love her but I made a mistake. I didn't want to have sex with her so quickly. I wanted her to know me first. Then I made a dickhead move and ignore her. Damn I'm a terrible mate! " Yes Alan. I'm pregnant with your baby. And you would've known that if you weren't being an asshole and ignoring me! " Beth shouted snapping me out of my thoughts.
"YOU'VE BEEN WHAT?!" My father boomed. I flinched. " ALAN ALEXANDER REED YOU WILL DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO MAKE THIS RIGHT, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" I nod my head. "Yes father. I understand."
"Good. Now Brandon how about we talk in my office?" my father asked and turned to Beth's father. he nods his head and they walk down the hall and go to my dad office. Beth is already sitting on the couch and looks at her stomach. I slowly sit down next to her. Beth then puts her hands on her head and started sobbing. I put my arms around her and gently rock her. "What am I going to do?! I can't do this on my own! I'm too young to have a baby!" she cried.
"Shhh. Your not alone. You have your mom, dad, sister, and brothers plus me to help you." I said softly. "I don't have you to help me. You've been ignoring me. You don't want anything to do with me or this baby." she whispered. She stopped crying and looks at me. "Beth I will do anything to help you and our baby. I'm sorry I've been an asshole and igorning you. I fucked up. I wanted you too know me before we had sex. I will do anything to make it up to you." I said looking stright into her eyes.
"You have to prove to me that you want me and this baby." she said. "Prove to me you want this baby first then we'll talk about getting back together." I smile. "Thank you Beth. Thank you for giving me a second chance."
"I never said I was giving you a second chance. I'm giving you the chance to be a father and be in this baby's life. Prove you want this baby and then I'll think about giving you a second chance." I nod. "I will Beth. I will. I promise." she nods and leans back. My father and her father come back and sit down. Beth's dad being on the love seat and my dad in the chair.
"Beth, Alan." my father says. Beth sits up and listens. "Yes alpha?" she asked. "Beth. Please call me Rex." my dad asked her. She nods. "Beth your father and I have come to an agreement. You will move into our house where you'll be properly cared for."
"Yes alpha. When I get home I'll start packing." she said. "I'll go with her to help." I said. Everyone looks at me. "Good. Now go. I'll prepare your room Beth." my dad said. Beth and I stand up.
Beth's dad shook my dad's hand. "Thank you, Rex." Beth's father said. "Let's go kids. Oh and Alan?" Brandon asked. "Yes, beta Johnson?" I asked. "Hands to yourself." he growled. I put my hands up. "Y-yes, s-sir." I said shakily. Beth looks at me and starts laughing. I smile a little.
I at least got her to smile and laugh. I'm making somewhat progress. We walk at the front door to Beth's dad's car. I get in the back and Beth gets in the front. Beta Johnson starts the car and we head to their house. We soon get to their house and I was scared for my life. The whole way here Beth's dad kept glaring at me.
I may be the next alpha but no matter what your mate's father is always going to be scary. Now I have to deal with her very overprotective younger twin brothers. Great. This is going to be so much fun. Note the sarcasm. This is going to be a long night.
