Alan's P.O.V
"Beth, Beth! Don't go to sleep! Stay with me! Beth, please! I love you, stay with me!" I shouted. I watch as her eyes close and she becomes unconscious. I keep pressure on her wound. I couldn't help but get aroused when I remembered she has her shirt off. 'Now's not the time to be horny!' my wolf says. 'I can't help it! She's our mate!' I shouted. I cut the mind link off and focused on my bleeding mate. The pack doctor, Paige, walks in. "Paige, please help. My mate, her stomach's bleeding." I say and remove my shirt from Beth's stomach.
"All right. Let me see the wound." She says. "Please Paige, she's pregnant." I said. I'm freaking out because I can lose my mate and our baby. "All right. She needs to be taken to the pack hospital. I need to clean and address the wounds there. I will also do an ultrasound to see if the baby's ok but I won't do that until she's awake." She replied. I nod and pick Beth up and start going downstairs. Paige is following and gets in her car. I get in the back of her car will her. "Please Paige. Hurry. She's bleeding out." I said and Paige speeds off. We get to the pack hospital in a few minutes.
I quickly run Beth into the hospital following Paige. I lay her on the bed and was thrown out of the room. 2 of the best fighters had to take me out. I wasn't going to leave her without a fight. That's my mate and child! My family soon came into the waiting room. "Damn it! Let me in the room with her! I promised her I wouldn't leave her! That's my mate and child!" I shouted trying to get back to Beth.
They didn't say anything. They just kept pushing me back. I finally broke down. "Not Beth. My mate, my baby. It's not fair. I'm the one that shrewed up. I'm the one that should be dying. Not them. They didn't do anything." I cried. I drop to my knees. I can't see who is in front of me. I'm looking down with tears streaming down my face. I feel tiny arms wrap around me. I see that it's a blob Brittani. "I never got to tell her how much I love her. How much I want to have a family with her. How excited I was when I found out about that we were going to have a pup. I'll never get to show her I'm worth giving another chance." I whispered.
"Alan?" Paige came in and asked. I look up and see her. "Yes? Is
she ok? Is the baby ok?" I asked getting up. "Beth is fine. Someone was just holding her too hard and dug their nails in pretty deep into her sides." she said. I growl at Alex. "I'll deal with you later Alex. Right now my mate needs me." I said. I follow Paige to where my mate is. I walk into the room and see Beth sitting up. "Beth!" I said. I run to to her side. "Thank god your ok." I said and hugged her. She hugged me back.
"How's the baby? Is the baby ok?" she asked. "Well we're going to find out now. Will you pull up shirt we gave you and we'll see how the baby is doing. Ok?" Paige said. Beth nods and pulls up the ugly hospital shirt. Paige goes and gets this gel looking stuff and a machine. "Now this gel is going to be kinda of cold." Paige said. Beth nods and braces as she puts the gel on. She then moves this wand looking thing around Beth's somtach. "Do you hear that sound?" Paige asked. I listen and hear fast beating heart beats. "Why is their more more than one heart beat?" Beth askes getting worried.
"Oh that's because there's more than one baby. Look." Paige said and we see 3 little egg shaped things. "Congratulation. Your having triplets!" Paige said. I stand there shocked and Beth is over joyed. Paige leaves and I turn and look at Beth. "Triplets!" Beth said. I sit down. Triplets. We're having triplets. The more I thought about it the less scared I got. I'm having triplets with my mate! A smile broke out on my face.
