-Jo-

I have been working for nearly four hours now and I can say that I have missed my break. It was only half three but I was allowed to go early because Jason arrived and offered to finish off.

The store was not busy like it was at around lunch time so I thought it was a perfect time to leave.
I went to the staff room and began to get my bag ready. Kyle was on the couch, taking a nap for him break. I tried not to make as much noise but being me I hit my knee against the the centre table.

"fuck." I muttered. Kyle was still asleep which was good considering he has to travel really early in the morning to come to work.

I grabbed the phone from my bag and checked for any notification or messages. Reese has sent a message five minutes ago saying that he'll meet me in Starbucks after work. Knowing him, he'll be late.
I grabbed my bag and left.

After that Jensen guy left this morning, I haven't been in a great mood. He just left me in such a bad mood. Luckily, I am about to have some coffee which puts me in a good mood.
I walked past Jason and waved goodbye to him which he gladly returned. It was already dark out and there were less people walking around.
Starbucks was only across the road so I took my time.

As I walked across the road. I heard my name being called out. I ignored it the first time but after being call three times I finally turned to see Jensen. My eyes widen, seeing him waving at me and walking my direction. I turned away and began to walk faster.
"Jo! Jo!" He still continued to call my name but I pretended that I did not hear him. The door was opened and as soon as I got in, I looked for Reese.
Shit! shit! shit!
His heavy footsteps was coming closer closer to me. I had not choice but to line up at the short cue.

"Jo." His raspy voice said. I took a deep breath and turned, knowing I would regret it.

"Hi." My voice went high pitch just like Reese's when he is uncomfortable or lying.

"I called you but I guess you didn't hear." He chuckled deeply. I sarcastically chuckled.
"Yeah, I'm just pretty tired, I'm not really paying attention properly." I said. In my mind I prayed that Reese would arrive soon. He was my only way out of this conversation.

"Ah, well I was actually about to go to book store," he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh really, why?" I asked. He looked a bit panicked when I asked him.

"I-I ah, I w-was just looking for another book." He stuttered which I strangely found adorable. His cheeks began to turn a light shade of pink.

"What book, maybe I could look for it for you?" I asked confidently. I knew Jensen was clearly making these up.

"Um, I think  it's-" he was cut off by the person behind the counter.

"Next!" I walked up to them with Jensen following behind me. I ordered my usual drink, caffè Misto.
Jensen ordered after me a signature hot chocolate.
He then stood next to me waiting for our drinks.

"So, about the book." I said, smiling innocently.
"Oh yeah, it slipped my mind. I'll let you know though when I remember it." I nodded.

"Jo." My name was called out by the women behind the counter who was holding my drink. Conveniently, Jensen's drink was also ready to collect. I took my drink and walked to the corner of the room where no one sat.
