Chapter 8

Shae Pov 
After I went home I fell asleep and when I woke up I heard on the news that Kyle was missing. I heard the mailman and he gave me a letter.

Dear Shae
You are braver than me, you speak your mind, you might have your own rough edges but something like this I just can't handle. I have a home and everything far away. I will try to stay in contact with you but for right now I want to be on my own and if I come back different well that means I was successful and if I still the same that means that much hasn't change. Please explain to our adopted parents for me. Love ya!

Kyle

I couldn't be brave or strong so I started to break down in tears.

Josh- What's wrong?

Shae- Everyone I love is leaving me they might visit but they are leaving who knows how long before you leave me too!

Josh- I will never leave you.

Shae- Yes you will

Josh- Why do you keep saying that?

Shae- BECAUSE MY PARENTS DIED PROTECTING THEIR CHILDREN FROM HER CRAZY EX. MY HALF SISTER STACY LEFT ME TO LIVE WITH HER FATHER SINCE SHE IS NEXT IN LINE FOR THE THRONE. CHAD FOUND A MATE, HAS A CHILD AND BARELY VISITS AND NOW KYLE LEAVES BECAUSE HE FOUND OUT ABOUT OUR REAL PARENTS. SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SAY? EVERYTHING IS PEACHY OKAY! YOU MIGHT SOON LEAVE ME AND I WILL BE BY MYSELF ALONE. WHY ME? IF YOU LEAVE I WILL BE LONELY, NO ONE WILL CARE FOR ME, NO ONE WILL LOVE ME, I WILL HAVE NO FRIENDS, MAYBE MY OWN FRIENDS WILL LEAVE ME!

By now Josh was looking at me with sympathy and sadness as I broke down in tears. Kyle thinks I'm brave maybe it is all an act.

Josh- Look at me

I wouldn't look. He lift my chin up but my eyes would not meet his.

Josh- Shae look at me!

I looked at him.

Josh- I would never leave you, neither will your friends nor your siblings would leave you. They will always be there for you and I know that you have been denying it but I am your mate. That is why I find it hard to let go or forget. Shae if they leave you, you will still have me and I ain't going away that easy. Okay?

Shae- Okay

Josh- I love you no matter what

Shae- I love you too

He kissed me and I felt better. I then took a shower and put on one of Josh's long black T-shirt. When I was finished I went back to the living room and saw Josh staring at me with his mouth opened.

Josh- You know, you look hot in my T-shirts.

Shae- I know

We watched some TV, we eat some pepperoni pizzas and drink some sodas. After a day of laziness we went into our room and listened to music until we fell asleep.
