Shae Pov
I woke up and saw Chad looking at me.

Shae- What's wrong?

Chad- Don't hide your sadness if you want to cry then cry.

Shae- What are you talking about?

Chad- You always wanted to do it both ways. Married and Mated.

Shae- I don't know what you mean?

Chad- You always wanted a wedding.

I started to cry but at the same time I smiled.

Shae- You know me too well.

Chad- It's okay to cry. Everyone has their own reasons to cry.

I broke down in tears and went over to Chad for comfort. Then I realized that Josh wasn't here!

Shae- Where's Josh?

Chad- I don't know I came in here and found him gone.

Shae- Is he cheating on me? Why isn't he here? Does he even loves me?

Right at that moment Josh came in with lipstick on his clothes and his face.

Shae- I know it he was cheating on me! He doesn't loves me and he doesn't want this child.

Chad- Dude where were you?

Josh- I'mma be honest I was at a strip club with a whole lot of strippers.

Shae- I knew it!

I got up took a shower and put on a loose black dress that goes to my knees with a red bandeau (Bandoh) in my hair. I got into my car a d drove off. I was going to Thea's house but on my way there I got hit by a car and the both of us were badly injured.

Josh Pov

I was waiting on Shae to come back and tell her the truth. I was actually by my mother's house getting kissed up by her when I told her that I am mated and my mate was pregnant. I turned on the TV and saw on the news two cars that collided and both drivers were badly injured and then I realized that one of them was Shae's car. I rushed over to the hospital and found Chad there with Kyle and they told me that Shae was in surgery and they weren't sure about the child. Stacy came and looked at me with hatred and sympathy. After about 3 hours the doctor said that I could only see her for now. I entered the room and saw her looking through the window and crying.

Josh- Shae what's wrong?

Shae- Why?

Josh- I was only joking I was smothered with kisses from my mother after telling her the news.

Shae- You don't just say something like that to your mate especially when she's carrying your child.

Josh- Are you both okay?

Shae- Well I am but as for the child I don't know!

Josh- What do you mean?

Shae- The doctor said that he wasn't able to hear a heartbeat but there is a chance that the baby is okay. He left to go and check on the other patient. In about 5 minutes if he doesn't hear a heartbeat that means I had a miscarriage.

Josh- I am so sorry Shae. I am a jerk but I know you don't want to mate with someone like me for the rest of your life. I will find some way to make us no longer mate's if that is what you want.

Shae- Are you an idiot? You are my mate. I love you and if you dare think of that I will punish you severely. I love you and only you we might have issues or habits that the other might not like but our love is strong.

Josh- I'm the reason all of this is happening!

Shae- You are not! Don't you get it neither of us are the reason and if you keep on blaming yourself I will get stress and if the baby is still alive and I get stressed out the baby might die. Josh I love you our vampire side knew what they did and why! I didn't realized it before but I am madly in love with you and I don't want you out of my life.

Josh- I am also madly in love but what if

Shae- No more what if please I just want that my mate is strong enough to handle the duties and pain that both of us will experience.

Josh- I love you so much

Shae- I love you too

The doctor came in and told us that the baby is still alive and well but Shae will have to stay her for a few days. I told the doctor that I will stay here with her and after that Shae was asleep.
