Emma

I'm going to start this story out weird but it will get better! I SWEAR!

Emma was walking down the street after school. She had a normal day but she really wanted school to end. Today her dad was getting out of work early and he took a couple days off for her long weekend. They were going to spend every minute together since she rarely ever saw him anymore. All of the sudden a couple men pulled her into an ally. They started beating and kicking her. Then they stole her purse and left her lying there on the ground. After a few minutes when she felt she could stand up without puking she stood up and looked at where she was. She saw that she was only a block away from her fathers work. Even though he had said never to go to his work it was an emergency and it was closer.

Gibb's POV

The elevator door rang and for some reason I felt the need to look up. What I saw completely shocked me. "Daddy?" Tony looked up "baby what happened?" Tony stood up and ran around his desk to his daughter. "They just came out of no where. They just jumped me, stole my purse and left me there!" By now the whole team was looking up concerned at the two. "Tony take her down to ducky" I said to him but he was already at the elevator. After the doors closed the whole team looked at me. "Who was that" Ziva asked even though she already knew the answer. "That is Tony's daughter Emma." I said slowly. "Tony was married about 16 years ago. She and Tony had Emma a year after and three years later Tony's wife was killed in a car accident, drunk driver." I explained to them. "That's terrible. So Tony has been taking care of her all by himself?" Ziva asked concerned. "No, no, when Emma was younger Tony's sister in-law watched her but now that Emma is older she can do more things on her own. Emma is a strong kid"

Tony's POV

Emma and I were coming from Ducky's back up to the team. Ducky had put a splint on for her broken arm, he rapped her waist for a few cracked ribs and she had some ice for her black eye. Other than that Emma was doing very well for someone who just got beat up. I really wanted to go straight to the hospital but the thing about Emma is that she is very stubborn. She insisted that she go and meet the team so I called everyone up and introduced them. "Emma meet Timothy McGee, Abby Scuito, Jimmy Palmer and Ziva David" I said knowing she already knew Gibbs and had just met Ducky. "Everyone this is Emma, my daughter". I looked around at all their shocked faces. "Wait!" Emma said. "This is the mysterious Ziva you always talk about?" Ziva looked at me stunned at first but then I thought I saw her blush a little. "My dad talks so much about you! He is practically in love! I have also heard so much about Abby and, what is it, Elf Lord!" Everyone laughed, even McGee. "That's great honey but we really need to get to the hospital." I told her. "Ok" she said as we walked to the elevator.

1 month later

Emma's POV

My arm had healed well and the ribs were getting better everyday. Today I had a day off from school and dad had a day off of work. This literally only happened once in a million years so we decided to make the best of it. We were going to go to the best waterpark around and go on every single ride. Then he was going to take me out to dinner at this really fancy restaurant right by our house and we were going to get all dressed up and have the best time. "Hey Em, what do you say we get some breakfast at the Corner Café then head to Water Extreme?" He asked me. "Sure dad". I said so we headed out.

"And what would you like miss?" The waitress asked me. "I will have a blueberry muffin and a black coffee." I told her. "Since when do you drink coffee?" My dad asked me. "Since I was twelve dad. You really don't pay attention do you?" I laughed at him but before he could defend himself a familiar face walked in. "Hey look there's Ziva" I said. Dad waved and Ziva smiled and walked over. "Hello guys. Why are you here so early?" Ziva asked us. "We got an early start to our extreme day of fun." My dad responded. "That sounds very interesting. Can I here more about it?" "Sure!" I said. "Pull up a chair. We are going to have so much fun!" I told her excitedly. As I was rambling on about the waterpark something caught the corner of my eye. Two men with ski masks walked in and screamed "Everyone on the ground!" People were running and screaming and my dad pushed me and Ziva to the ground. I started crying and Ziva rapped her arm around me. My dad sat up and tried to negotiate with the man. "Sir, can't we all just calm down a little bit?" My dad said to him. "NO, Shut up!" then next thing I knew I was being pulled up by one of the men and Ziva and my dad were screaming. One of the men shot at the counter and he shut them up. "Please" Ziva said. "Take me with you!" My dad started arguing with her but she wouldn't give up. "The more the merrier" One of the man said and he grabbed Ziva as well. Dad started fighting with the other man but the guy smacked him over the head with his gun. The last thing I heard was my dad screaming "Please keep her safe!" And Ziva yelling "I will!" Then I blacked out.
