The day I met them was the best day of my life. I met my one true love, but to find my true love, I had to make a decision. Let me tell you, it was a hard one. I loved them both, and things were confusing. The person who I thought I loved more, turned out to lie to me, over and over. I didn't know what to do.
My name is Dohyoun Jo. I am 18 years old. I had turned 18 on January 17. Since my birthday, I've been saving up money for the one thing I want more than anything, a VIP concert ticket to my favorite groups concert. You may be wondering what this group is, well I'll tell you. Drum roll, please. Dun-nuh-nun-nuh-dah. BTS. Yes, you heard me, the Bangtan Boys. The boys we all know and love, J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook), Jimin (Park Jimin), Rap Monster (Kim Namjoon), V (Kim Taehyung), Jin (Kim Seokjin), and Suga (Min Yoongi). I'll tell you who my two favorites are though, Jimin and Namjoon. Jimin because he's stubborn but knows when to let loose, plus his voice is so angelic. Namjoon because he's so reliable and is such a leader, plus his charisma is on fleek.^-^. Besides they are both so handsome! Oh and Jimin has small hands, just like me. But those reasons are few of the very many that I have for loving them. It took me 7 months, to earn the money for the concert but I can tell that it's going to be very fun and worth it. The day I get to see them is August 21 and I'm so excited! I'm taking a year off school because I want to explore things before being tied down and stressed out by college. So, I'm just enjoying life and taking a break from all the stress. The best way for me to do that I guess is to go see a BTS concert. Did I mention I have backstage passes and get to meet all the members?
They played out with the newest song at the concert, "Blood, Sweat, And Tears", and it was beautiful. After the concert was over Dohyoun went backstage, and there was a line of screaming fans, waiting to meet their favorite people. Though Dohyoun was as enthusiastic as the rest of them, she kept and calm and waited quietly. When the members saw her patiently waiting, Namjoon asked the security guards protecting him and his friends, to bring Dohyoun forward, and have the rest of the girls wait outside for a little bit, while he hung out with Dohyoun. He gently put her arm through his and guided her to the couch all the members were sitting on. When she sat down all the members were looking at her. She was very quiet and didn't know what to say. Because of her shyness, Namjoon tried to start a conversation. "So, how old are you?" Dohyoun finally made eye contact with him and when he saw her eyes, he instantly fell in love. His jaw nearly dropped and all the members, even Dohyoun could tell something was up with him at that moment. Taehyung took him aside while Dohyoun chatted with the other members. "What's going on, Namjoon-Hyung? Are you feeling okay?" Namjoon seemed to be staring off into the distance, not looking at anything in particular, just daydreaming about her. Taehyung snaps his fingers in Namjoons face, "Earth to Namjoon! Wake up, hyung!" Namjoon came back to reality, "Oh sorry," he seemed to go back to that daydream but was somewhat coherent with the world around him. "Her eyes, Hyung. They are so beautiful." Namjoon finally made eyecontact with Taehyung, "Isn't she beautiful?" Taehyung was very surprised with Namjoon because he's never heard him talk so fondly, of well, anyone! "Hyung, do you like her?" Namjoon got serious, "I think this is more than a like, Taehyung."
Finally, Namjoon and Taehyung came back and sat down. Taehyung made it so Namjoon could sit close to Dohyoun, and very close. He practically made them squish together like two slices of bread on a sandwich. Even though Namjoon didn't say anything, Taehyung could tell that he enjoyed it. Yoongi filled Namjoon in on what Dohyoun and the members were talking about. "Dohyoun was just telling us she is 18, and is taking a year off of college. She's planning on studying in Seoul." "Oh, cool. Going to Seoul University?" She looked at him and he seemed to've stopped breathing. "Yeah, I'm studying to be a Neonatal Nurse." She smiled sweetly near the end of that sentence. He just nodded his head, too nervous to reply or ask another question. Just then Jimin walked in. "Sorry I'm la-" he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Dohyoun. "Wh- who is this?" He pointed toward Dohyoun. She looked down, tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and stood up to shake his hand. "My name is Dohyoun, nice to meet you." They shook hands and she bowed slightly. She went and sat back down. Once again Yoongi filled another member in with the details he knows of Dohyouns life. Jimin seemed extremely fascinated with Dohyoun and Namjoon could tell. He didnt like that at all and a feeling of jealousy washed over him.He tried not to be, after all he barely knew her and for all he knew she didn't feel the same way about him.
When it was time for other fans to meet the group and Dohyoun had to leave, Jimin snuck away and took her to where no one was around. He was very quiet at first, but he really wanted to talk to her. "Dohyoun, will you do me the honor of going out with me?" She looked at Jimin in disbelief, but replied despite the shock of the question. "I'd love to." She looked down again and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. He was so happy he hugged her, she was surprised but hugged him back. They embraced eachother for a a couple of minutes. Namjoon had wondered where Jimin went, so he went to look for him. When he found him, he saw him embracing Dohyoun. Dohyoun and Jimin quickly seperated when they saw Namjoon. Dohyoun looked down at her feet slightly embarrassed, pulled on her shirt and bit her bottom lip. She put her hand on her arm and bent her knee to put her weight on her knee. Namjoon stood in astonishment for a few seconds, then ran out of the door. Jimin was confused and Dohyoun felt terrible, but doesn't even know why. She ran out after him to apologize, it took her a minute to catch him. But when she did she grabbed his shirt sleeve. He stopped and turned around to face her. Hot tears were stinging his eyes, he was resisting to cry in front of her. Even though he was trying not to, the tears still slipped from his eyes and streamed down his face. Dohyoun saw that he was crying and moved closer towards him to wipe his tears. "Why are you crying?" Namjoon turned his head and stared at the floor tears still streaming down his face. He then looked at her, deeply. "Do you like him?" Then she too, looked at the floor. She didn't know how to answer such a question. With her eyes still looking down she replied, "I don't know yet." Namjoon tilted her head up to look up at him. "Will you at least give me a chance?" She was surprised yet again, she felt a lump in her throat and looked down. "Okay..."
