~Daisy~
I promised. I promised I'd find my way back home; to him. Back into the warmth of his strong protective arms. Back into the view of his icy grey blue eyes.
I missed the way his light brown hair curled in certain spots but was just wavy in others. I missed his innocent yet rebellious smile and the way he looked at me. I missed the sound of his laugh. He was determined to never follow the rules.
I had made it home. We found him in the woods, beaten and burned. His eyes swollen shut. He had escaped the camp he was forced to work at.
Me and Piper took him in. Cleaned his wounds. But there were wounds deep inside him that we couldn't nurture back to health.
Eventually his burns and cuts healed. But no one knows what actually happened to Edmond except Edmond and whoever did this to him. He doesn't talk anymore.
But I'll wait. I have hope he'll heal. I think he just needs time. I'll always love him regardless.
The power was turned back on. The Government or City dropped off water-tablets to clean the contaminated water. Food was dropped off too.
The war was over for us but not for Edmond. His mind still raged.
