Chapter 23 Gao VS J Genesis Part 1

/In Gaito's room/:
OKA'S POV:
"Cheers!!" We all said I smiled "What are you all doing in my room?" Gaito said a bit annoyed... I smiled "They're all ignoring me!" Gaito said I sighed... Ozon B dressed as Paruko began asking Gaito how he felt when he received the Dragon Force... "Were you happy? I bet you were happy!" Ozon B said I put my arm Gaito's neck smiling "I agree I bet you were very happy Gaito.!" I said he got even more annoyed "Stop fooling around!" he said I was trying not to laugh... "I'm so glad you and Abygale don't have to split up." Gao said Gaito looked surprised to hear that. Gaito sat back down... "Perhaps my destiny is to someday become friends with them." Gaito said I looked at Gaito.... he looked at me... "Aren't we friends now..." I said "I don't consider you my friends yet." he said I sighed... "Alright. I'm just glad your okay." I said he looked slightly confused "What do you mean." he said "I mean about your whole search to get the Dragon Force and your little power trip on Cho-Taiyou Island... and ever since then it was just getting worse and- I was really worried about you..." I said he didn't say anything-.... he soon spoke.. "I'm-... sorry about worrying you. But I'm fine now." he said I smiled.... Ozon B soon turned the TV on it was an interview with J Genesis! Genesis said that monsters to him are tools. "Bal, Kaiser, Abygale and Jack and Ozon B aren't tools, bal!" Bal said J Genesis soon revealed his new creation of Gemclone... Origin Breaker..! "Origin Breaker has absorbed Bal Dragon, Jackknife, and Abygale's abilities." J Genesis said he soon showed the cards he used to create this. I didn't say anything.... I just continued to watch till the interview ended... I soon left the room...

OKA'S POV:
I opened the door.... Tasuku was busy doing something so I sat down on the bed.... I sighed-.... Tasuku stopped what he was doing... "I take it you saw the interview.." he said sitting beside me... I nodded "I'm too tired to bother about that.." I said he sighed.. "Alright. Then we'll talk tomorrow... if your tired you can head to bed now." he said "No. I'm not going to sleep till you do." I said he smiled "Fine then." he said lying down on the bed.... he wrapped his arms around me... I soon fell asleep in his arms..

/The next day/:

OKA'S POV:
"According to Bal... he's going to be used as an instrument of war. That's what Origin Breaker said, right?" Tasuku said "That's right, bal!" Bal said "I think that J Genesis is planning something terrible." Gao said "Tasuku." Jack said "The truth is.... last night, the Buddy Police received another anonymous email. It claimed the J Genesis was a merchant of death, trying to use the WBC Cup World Championships as a cover to auction off a new instrument of war." Tasuku said "Auction off a new instrument of war?" Gao said "It means someone who sells tools that hurt people and monsters to friend or foe alike. An unforgivable lot who only care about making money. " Jack explained "He's going to sell Origin Breaker, bal?" Bal said "Yeah. To J Genesis, monsters are just tools of his trade. In other words they're just products." Tasuku said Gao got upset hearing this... "If J Genesis becomes Buddy Champion, that will make Origin Breaker the strongest monster in the world. He'll fetch an astronomical price at auction." Tasuku "Then we have to do something fast." Jack said to us. I nodded in agreement... Tasuku clenched his folded hands... "It's no good. We can't take action based on just this email." he said "We'll have to beat J Genesis. Then Origin Breaker won't be the strongest monster!" Gao yelled "That's true, but...." Gao cut Tasuku off "If he's not the strongest, then there's a chance he won't sell at the auction!" Gao said "But you know how strong J Genesis is. You can't be certain that you'll win." Tasuku said "He's trying to turn monsters into instruments of war and sell them off! There's no way I can lose to a guy like that!" Gao said upset "Gao. Please calm down." I said "But Oka, he's trying to sell off monsters.!!" he said "I understand that but your outbursts aren't helping the situation." I said in a serious tone "But-..! He's-..!!" I cut him off slamming my hands on the table snapping at him... "Shut up!! I get it Gao you don't want to lose to him, and you want to put a stop to J Genesis. But yelling about this isn't going to help anything now is it.! So please just shut up!!!" I said my eyes widened realizing what I said to Gao-.... I sat back down... my hair shadowed my eyes-... "I'm sorry Gao... I didn't mean to snap at you." I said "It's fine.. and your right yelling about his won't solve anything." he said he soon told Bal that they have to beat J Genesis. Bal agreed... "Gao... you go get ready for your fight. I need to speak with Oka... alone." Tasuku said Gao nodded leaving the room with Bal following him.... the door closed behind them.
"What was that." he said "What do you mean..." I said "Why did you snap at Gao like that." he said I didn't say anything...... he placed his hand on my head.... "Just don't do that again." he said I nodded he smiled.. "Do you think Gao can win?" Jack said Tasuku had a smile on his face... "He'll win." he said "But how can you be sure.." I said "You should know better than anyone how strong he is. and unlike the last time that we fought him. He's got Origin Breaker up his sleeve." Jack said "I agree with Jack." I said Tasuku smiled... "Even so, Gao will figure out a way to win." he said

/At the fight stage/:
OKA'S POV:
Tasuku, Gaito, and I stopped Gao-.... "Bal. Your opponent is undoubtedly strong." Abygale said "But you two must win. That is your destiny!" Gaito said "You two have always fought bravely, no matter who your opponent was." Jack said "We'll take care of whatever happens after the match." Tasuku said Gao looked at me-... "If you two lose I won't forgive you." Kaiser said with a smile "Promise us that you beat J Genesis." I said Gao smiled high-fiving me "I promise." he said "Good. Now go out there and win.!" I said he grinned "Yeah! We'll beat J Genesis for sure!" Gao said

I watched quietly.... Gao and Genesis luminized... "Buddy..... fight!" Paruko and everyone said "First move goes to Gao Mikado!" she said
