Chapter 5: Better than expected

Zayn's POV ( Rewind six hours. This happens at the same time Lexie meets Harry)

To tell I was worried was an understatement. The way how events turned out, made me dread about how Harry is going to cope with this drama. Especially how Harry is going to manage Lexie,management and the paparazzi. We weren't really shocked when Harry agreed to go with the plan. Ofcourse we knew he wouldn't take the other choice. I mean if I was in his position I would have done the same thing. Quiting the band will be the worst desicion ever.

But I was in Harry's position atleast I would have handled the situation well. But not Harry. Atleast I don't think he can. There are times when I wonder whether Harry was too young when he tried out for X factor. Whether he is too young for fame and this whole celebrity thing. But there are celebrities younger than him who are handling the fame well. I just don't know what got into Harry.

He has changed a lot since our X factor days. But not in the way you are thinkin. Those days Harry used to be fun-loving,crazy type of person who always wanted the five us to spend time together. He wasn't a type of person who cared about wat others thought of him. He used to be very cheeky,talkative, he was even called 'the flirt' of the band.

But as months passed his character began to change a lot. Maybe because he was always the family guy and he misses his family a lot. He loves his family a lot especially his mom. I can tell that he really misses Homes Chapel. Being away from them makes him unhappy maybe. I'm nt sure. Or maybe two breakups in a year. Or maybe because the management was always forcing him to do things. Maybe because people make rumors about him that he is gay or I don't what but he has definetly changed a lot in this three years.

He has become less talkative and more of a 'reserved' type of person. The time he spends with the four of us is really less. He doesn't join our crazy fun now, he is mostly in his room. I think he is trying to distance himself from people.

But he is a good actor. In public; in concerts, interviews,shows or anywhere in front if our fans he puts up a good show. He acts as if nothing is wrong, as if he is still the same old Harry. As if he is totally happy now. But only we can see the pain he is going through beneath his fake smile.

We have tired everything we can to help him. I even tried talking him into taking therapy classes. But he never listens to us.

I think he is kind of broken inside. He overthinks everything. He is afraid to do anything he want because he doesn't know how the media will take it. We think he is kind of depressed. All he needs is to trust someone with his whole heart and trust them with his worries and thoughts and let the person repair his heart. But the chances of him finding the right person is against the nil. In this world now as he is famous he can't trust everyone he meets. He wouldn't know who likes him truly or who is after his money and fame... Celebrity life is really hard..

"Come on guys, get a grip. Enough worrying. Harry is old enough to make sensible decisions and do things carefully. Why are we wasting a day? Come on let's have fun." Liam scolded breaking all of us from our intense thoughts.

All of us were in our apartment. Yeah we share an apartment but we have separate houses in this apartment. Each for one of us. Eventhough we have separate houses we usually hang out in one place. That is except Harry. Now all of us were sitting in Niall's living room.

"That's a good idea Li."Louis told.

"Let's have a movie day or something." I suggested.

"Yeah! A movie day. It's been years since we had one."

"Okay, so movie day it is."

"Wait guys toy choose the movies, I'll order so e pizza."Niall told running out of the room with his phone.
