The Generous Niall

Chapter 20

(Niall's POV)

After the vintage restaurant, Hailey and I are going shopping. I told her what ever she wanted I could get her. She wanted new sneakers, and A purple bear keychain. I think she didn't want anything fancy, at least not like the rest of the girls I've met before. I just think Hailey is special and really different then most girls, she's mean at times but I don't care. I'm very lucky to have her.

"Let's go!" She demanded.

"Where do you want to go next?" I asked her. She thought for a moment.

"Let's go home, my feet are tired!"

We walked as she handed me the bag, I stared at her beautiful hair. She noticed.

"What are you looking at?" She smiled.

"You!" I said.

"Oh, if your staring, trust me there's nothing to see here!"

"Oh come on, you're beautiful, you know that right?"

"Kind of!"

"You're beautiful and I mean it!"

"Aww!"

Obviously she was ecstatic.

"Have you had a boyfriend before?" She looked furious after that, I mean literally she terminated smiling.

"Lets not talk about it!"

We stopped and sat on the bench. Hailey folded her arms and stared at people passing by. I had no clue why was she angry.

"Hailey, please!" I begged her.

"No, I said I don't want to talk about it!" Her tone got thicker and nastier by the minute. I looked at her, she wouldn't even look at me. What's the problem? I couldn't figure it out, Why is so angry? Did Someone tell she's not right for them? Did they hurt her or something? If she won't tell me then I won't know.

"Did someone hurt you in the past or something?" I ask.

She wouldn't speak to me.

"Please tell me what's wrong I have to know!" I said furiously.

She grabbed the bag away from me and walked away. I watched her. I walked home and knocked on the door, Liam answered.

"Hey buddy, what's wrong?"

I avoided him and walked inside. I pounced on the bed, Harry slapped my shoulder while he was talking.

"What's wrong buddy? you look like someone had ditches you in the middle of a homecoming dance!"

Louis started dancing crazy, but not just him, it was Zayn and Liam. They were shouting really loudly.

"That's enough guys!" Harry shouted.

They stood there frozen. Harry sat down on the couch. In complete silence.

"It's Hailey!"

"Oh you're still going out with her? I thought you would break up with her!"

"No, still going with her, today we had a great time today, I took her to places. First, I took her an old restaurant that now has kareoke machine, We sang together. Which was Awesome, next we went shopping. She didn't want anything fancy like that. I notice she's too different then all of the girls I've met. She's wonderful. We were walking down the street and I asked her something that made her get angry!"

"What did you asked her?" Liam says.

"I asked her did she had a boyfriend before?" I respond

"Why was she upset over that?" Harry asked.
