My eyes read my body. Seeing if the outfit would approve of Ethan's rules. I wore a black crop top with spaghetti straps and baggy jeans with cuts and holes in it. I wrapped a jacket around my waist in case I got cold or Ethan didn't approve of my outfit.
It was 8:54 PM and Ethan told me he would pick me up at nine. I made sure to grab my phone.
I scoot back in the mirror to take in one last look. Messing with my hair and posing.
Ethan's ringtone buzzed on my phone. I click accept, putting the phone up to my ear.

"I'm outside."
"I'll be right out."
I hang the phone up, grabbing it on the way out. The lights on his car were beaming through the windows.
"Some bright lights you got." I smile, closing the door to his car.
"Yeah, sorry. They're new."
When we pull up to the house we had to park on the side of the street. Mostly because there was no room to park in the driveway and because that's where everyone else parked. Walking up the driveway you can see people through the window and the cool color changing lights.
Before he opens the door he looks at me.
"Ivana, before we go in...I love you. I really do." He smiles.
"Come on, let's just go have fun."
