Rainy days

Chapter 1: The beach

I look over and see him thinking. "It smells like its going to rain" he says. I realize I am smiling. " You really think so?" I ask. He looks at me and smiles " Well of course sunshine!" I have been bestfriends with Dayman for 3 years now and he had given me that nickname for no reason. I'm not really that happy of a person. " Lets go" I say " I don't think we should be on the beach in the rain."
He laughs and says " You that worried sunshine?" He knows I worry about a lot of things and getting stuck on the beach in the rain is one of them. I give him that face I make every time something like this happens. Again he laughs and says " Don't give me that look". Then he picks me up and runs across the beach as fast as he can.
" DAYMAN! PUT ME DOWN!" I yell at him. He just laughs and keeps running. I finally just give up on getting him to put me down because I know its not gonna happen. " oh come on sunshine its not that bad im just havin a little fun is all."
We finally get back to his truck and he smirks at me as we get in and it starts pouring. " See i told ya it was gonna rain" he says with a big grin on his face. I just roll my eyes and laugh a little. " Whatever, just take me home." he laughs again. Am I that funny? " You gotta smile for me first sunshine!" I look over at him and give him the biggest, cheesiest grin I can think of.
" hahaha there it is sunshine! Alright lets go."
