Eren's gums bled, his jaw clenched so tightly. His chest rising and falling in quick succession as his breathing grew heavy. Eren could feel his Captains boot pressing down on his injured ribs, in a state of panic the boy lifted an arm without hesitation, placing a hand between the sharp points of his teeth.
Levi grabbed Eren by the nape, lifting the brunette as he lowering himself down on a single knee. Eren squirmed in his captors hold, frantic kicking caused him to collapse against Levi's chest.
"Moron." Firmly taking hold of his chin, Levi tilted Erens head to look into the boys wide anxious eyes as they flicked between his own.
"I'll do it." Eren's voice dragged itself from his throat, the tone strange coming from him as he remained slumped against Levi, teeth still clamped around his hand.
Levi's fringe fell over his pale eyes as he watched the boy, after a studying moment he spoke.
"Do it." Eren's heart skipped a beat, his breath caught, jaw slacking around his bruising hand. This was all it took, Levi had already yanked it from the boy and threw him to the ground, a knee either side of him as he held Eren down by his wrists.
"You've always made poor choices, brat." Eren gulped, Levi's words digging in, he could feel the mans breath, hot against his ear, as his lips brushed his cheek.
"I'm sorry! Please, just stop..." Levi slowly lifted his head at the change in Eren's voice, cold eyes gazing down at the trembling body beneath him. Only then did he notice the redness of the young recruits eyes as the tears rolled down his face. The older male sat back, unable to hide the sudden concern etched on his features.
He remained atop the now shivering body, the boy still pinned, clearly in great pain and fear.
Levi let his fingers relax as they released their grip on a pair of sore looking wrists and gently lifted himself up, stepping away from the nervous wreck left below. He turned away from Eren, unable to look into those pools of terror staring up at him.
"Get out." Levi murmured, his arms folding across his chest as he leaned his lower back against the windowsill, eyes watching the far wall without a hint of emotion.
Eren rolled onto his side, cupping his mouth once more as the familiar urge crept back up his throat. He managed to struggle to his feet, ducking to avoid Levi's line of sight as he staggered to the door. He fumbled with the handle, almost falling out into the bright hallway as the door swung open. Eren couldn't help himself, he took one more look over his shoulder, just in time to lock eyes with his Captain. He then left, unsure if he had caught a glimpse of remorse in those ever chilling set of eyes.
