Hey guys its been a while since I've written anything... at all. Been a pretty busy and shitty year, anyone with me? It's awesome to see that even though I wasn't writing I got a lot of new followers. Anyway, like I said I haven't written anything in a long time so I might be a little rusty... please work with me. Also I am looking for a beta! So Pm me if you're up for it! I need someone who is experienced in editing and can motivate me to write. (I'm a hardcore procrastinator)

Everyday I chase after the moon. Her beautiful glow guiding my way. -The Sun
Every night I long for the suns warmth to embrace me. She is my love. -The Moon
"The Sun can never meet the Moon, for their child Earth would die."

"Is this it?" I ask closely studying her face contoured by the shadows cast by the dim light in the gas chamber. There was no escape now.  Our dignity had been stripped from us in the last few hours along with everything we owned.

A thin and weak smile spread across her normally peaceful face, her hair fell back as her eyes connected with mine and in that moment I felt the strings of my heart burst. I felt tears prick my eyes and panic creep in my gut. I jumped up and slammed myself against the metal door.

"She didn't do anything! It was my fault!" I screamed as my fists beat on the door. Irrationality engulfed me and a sudden anger over took me as I pounded. It wasn't fair. This wasn't how this was supposed to end. We were supposed to change the world. I collapsed in on my self my knees buckling. I only wanted to love her. My once furious fists barely just an echo of what they were. "Please... let her go."

A soft hand rested itself on my shoulder. I rested my cheek on it and it flipped around cupping my cheek. I turned  toward my lover, her green eyes were filled with tears as well.

"This isn't fair," I mumbled as she rested her forehead on mine, I felt like a child crying to her mother. I could feel her warm breath tickle my lips. I ran my fingers through her straight platinum blonde hair, relishing in the simple fact that I could touch her freely for once.

"I know," her lips pressed to mine in a gentle kiss. It was the first kiss we had ever shared. "In another life maybe we can love each other freely, Kiana." Gas began to creep in through the vents, the execution was put in to motion. The stench made my stomach heave.

Her hand found mine and our fingers entwined, "I wanted to embrace you for so long. I longed to know how you felt, my sun, my love," she pulled away as she spoke and our gazes connected. A pure genuine smile of happiness cast a glow across her face.

"I love you," she whispered as her lips crashed into mine and our skin met in a tight embrace and like that we died in each others arms, the first and the last time we ever held one another.

A flash of green then platinum blonde and suddenly my heart was racing. "Excuse me for a second!" I exclaimed running out of the glass room.

"Sure it's not like your in the middle of an important meeting!" I hear one of my co- workers call after me. Needless to say I ignored her.

My feet thumped against the carpeted floor of the sixth floor of Blackwell Inc. I ran aimlessly down the hall in the direction the beautiful woman went in. I caught sight of her just as she turned the corner toward the hall where the elevators were. My heartbeat sped up and I felt nostalgia swell up in my chest. I ran harder than I ever had which wasn't saying much because I didn't run.

I rounded the corner and there she stood waiting for the elevator. I stopped satisfied I found her but not sure how to proceed.  She turned my way, my not so subtle appearance distracting her from the smartphone in her hand. When her eyes met mine the phone slipped from her slender pale fingers and bounced to the ground.

I found tears springing forth to my eyes and hers mirrored mine. Emotions I had never felt before engulfed me. I stepped towards her slowly afraid with each step I took she would disappear.

She stood frozen like a statue, all in her gloriously flawed perfection. Hesitantly I brought my hand up, shaking I cupped her cheek, and she let out a breath she had been holding since my ascent on her.

Her hand held my palm to her cheek as she nuzzled into it pressing her lips on the soft part of my thumb, "My Sun."

"Finally I've caught you, my Moon," I said quietly, the taste of her name on my tongue sending shivers down my spine and a tear down my cheek.

I really love the idea of the sun and moon having a painful love so in the near future maybe expect some more from that.
