Pay For Your Mistake, Dear Ex Husband

Pologue

Eliana's POV:

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I stared at the man I love with all of my heart who holding hands with my best friend as they sit in front of me at the type. My heart shattered into pieces at what my husband, Tristan, said to me.

"Wh-what" I choked out in between softly in a broken voice. "You heard me, Eliana, I want a divorce." Tristan said calmly not caring about my feelings. Jessica, my best friend since I was little shifted slightly in the chair as she was uncomfortable with the atmosphere. "B-but, why Tristan, why would you cheat on me! Does our marriage mean nothing to you?" I asked him. "No Eliana, it just..." He started but trailed off.

"It just what, huh! You decide to ruin our marriage by being with this homewrecker!" I sneered. Jessica flinch at the harsh tone and what I called her but I didn't care. "Don't call her that!" Tristan yelled as I flinch at the harsh tone he used. Why are you raising your voice at me and protecting her? "Then why Tristan!" I exclaimed in a hurt tone that's sadden and broken.

"Because Eliana, I don't love you" He started," I felt no spark during our marriage or the day we married, you have been a great, no, wonderful wife and lover, but I couldn't love you back, I'm sorry." I frozen in my spot at the words he just said. He didn't love me...nor try to love me either.."How long...." I started in a low soft tone. "What?" He said in a confused tone. "I said how long this affair been going on." I said loud enough for him to hear. "Eli-" He started but I cut him off. "Just answer the question, Tristan." I said in firm tone.

"During 3-5 years of our marriage." He answered. "So the whole working late and business trip was a lie than." I asked him again. "Yes." He said in a soft tone. "I can't believe this! How could break our vows, you say you'll never leave me or hurt me! But now you are!" I said. "I'm sorry Eliana, I'm really am" Tristan started,"But I wanted to start a new chapter in life with Jessica and for our baby." My world stopped when he say our baby, I looked at him shock then looked over at Jessica.

"Your...pregnant" I asked to her. "Yes...Eliana..I am pregnant"Jessica said in a guilty tone,"I'm sorry" I felt sick to my stomach at the two people who I grew up with who would never hurt me or betrayed me, but that's all gone now. I stay quite not knowing what to say anymore and how beyond hurt I am at this moment. My baby's father is leaving me for my backstabbing of a friend who pregnant. Yes I'm pregnant, I just came back from the doctor to tell Tristan about our baby, I was excited that we was going to,start a family and being parents but this right here and now, I don't want nothing to do with him nor that whore I once called my best friend.

"Fine...I sign the papers" I said softly.  I picked up the pen that was next to the divorce papers and sign my signature on it then put the pen down the I saw a faint smile on Tristan face along with Jessica which hurt me more but I'm going to shattered it. "Thank you for understandi-" Tristan started but I cut him off. "We the divorce is filed, your not going to see my baby once he or she is born." I said firm tone. Both Tristan and Jessica expression change from thankful to shock.

"Baby!? Eliana are you" He said in a shock tone. I nodded my head 'yes' and spoke again. "Yes, I am, I was going to tell you but all that gone now" I started,"I'm divorcing you and you'll never see your baby."

"Wait a minute Eliana, "Tristan started,"Let's work this out." I shook my head 'no' at him and spoke. "No, we're not going to work things out with you" I started," I want nothing to do with your nor let a sinful man like you near my baby either." I said. "You can't do that! I have the rights to my child! You can't keep me away." He said now angry. "Yes, I can" I started," I don't want my child to ask me why his or her daddy not with us but another woman and child or why daddy doesn't want to be with us" I started," I sign the divorce papers setting both of us free from this marriage and my baby from suffering in misery because of you."

"I still want to be in my child life, Eliana." He said as he unhook his left hand from Jessica then balled both of the up in fist. "You should have thought of that when you decide to have a affair with that whore and get her pregnant." I said. "Eliana-" He started but I cut him off. "My answer is final and it's going to stay like that to, I don't care how angry you are with me, but my mind is made up." I said to him.

"Eliana" Jessica started," think this through, you don't want your baby to grow up without knowing his or her father, I know you're hurt but think about your child." I looked at her with a blank expression but I couldn't help but coldly laugh at her. "Coming from someone like you who ruin my marriage, and now you giving me advice to work things things out with him, "I started,"That's the most load of bullcrap I even heard coming from you." I sneered in a harsh tone as she flinch. I got up from the couch and started to made my way to the front door as I spoke.

"I let my lawyer contact you on the divorce papers and when we go to court to get this finalized." I said as I was now at the front door and turning the door nob as I heard a click sound. Then I look back at the two people who hurt me so much. "I let you two know this" I started in a cold," Next time if we ever cross path, I'm going to make sure you two suffer for what you done to me, that's a promise." 

I closed the door after that and walked away from the house that I once called my home that I shared with the man I once loved. This is a new start for me and my baby.
