Kim's Birthday
Tomorrow was Kim's birthday December 7th the little girl was turning six. And next Monday is her last day of kindergarten. Kim woke up with a smile on her face and skipped into the kitchen. She was excited to see that her aunt Mary had came for her birthday tomorrow. Kim screamed "yippee, hooray tomorrow's my birthday!" Then she ran up to aunt Mary and squeezed her as tight as a monkey holding a banana. Grammy came in the kitchen coming from the bathroom she groaned tiredly "well dear Mary I am so sleepy and I was just wondering if you could watch Kim well I go back to bed?" Mary said kindly "oh of course I will watch this cute little girl well you go to bed." Grammy went back to bed in delight and said "I should be up in like two or three hours." Mary and Kim started to talk to each other Kim asked "what will we do?" Mary answered " honey what do you want to do?" Kim said I want to play princesses!" So they did. After to hours grammy came in and said its "9:30 in the morning so what time is it Kim?' Kim answered proudly "Ooh its time to play princesses." Sally and Mary gave a little chuckle and then Sally said "Kim its time for breakfast silly but you can play princesses after breakfast." They had breakfast of toast with butter and cinnamon on top. Once Kim was done she told Mary "Come on, come on lets go play." Mary told Kim" But Kim honey I'm not done eating so you can go set up the game well I finish eating." Kim then realized that all princesses have a castle so we need one too. Then Kim asked grammy for a castle for the game but grammy said to use your imagination. Once Mary finally was done eating Mary and Kim continued the game of princesses they were playing before breakfast and grammy went to her bedroom to finish her articles for today. Kim enjoyed being a pretty, pink, princess and Mary was fine with being a pretty, purple, princess. They played for three hours and then grammy came in from her bedroom and said "time for lunch." Kim had a half of a ham sandwich, gramm had a full turkey sandwich, and Mary had the other half of Kim's ham sandwich. After lunch Mary asked Kim "are we going to play princesses again?" Kim answered "yes." Mary replied sweetly "all that we have done well I have been here is play princesses. Don't you want a change?" Kim said happily "I guess that would be fine." Mary said "what are we going to play?" Kim screamed "fairy princesses." Mary said "oh alright." So they played and played and played for about six hours they played. Until Mary looked at the clock and saw it was 6:30 so she said "Kim its time for dinner." Then she went and told Sally "time for dinner." They had chicken for dinner and by the time dinner was over it was 6:50, time for Kim to get ready for bed so she went and got on her pretty pink princess pajamas, she was so excited for tomorrow she fell asleep before Sally (her grammy) could read her the story about the pretty pink fairy princess and her pretty purple fairy princess friend. Mary went to bed then too because she was so tired from running around and dancing and singing and playing fairy princesses and just plain princesses. Sally decided to just go to bed too because she was tired from writing down her articles the whole day. It was 9:00 in the morning and Sally sneaked out of bed trying not to wake up Kim. Then she came in and woke up Mary. Mary had bounced of the couch were she was sleeping. Mary almost yelled "what was that for!" But Sally made sure she was quiet so that they wouldn't wake up Kim. Sally whispered to Mary "Is today the day that I should tell Kim the truth?" Mary answered "yes. Today is the day she will turn six. It will be a great birthday gift to tell her the truth." It was 7:30 Kim usually wakes up then so Sally whispered "hide we will yell surprise when she comes in." Kim walked in the lights were off and she couldn't reach the switch to turn them on so she yelled "Mary grammy where are you?" They both popped up from behind the couch and yelled "surprise!" Mary flipped the light on right when they had popped up Kim looked over and screamed "aaaahhhh!!!!!"
She was scared so she ran back to her bedroom and started to cry. Sally went in and asked "what is wrong sweetie?" Kim was still crying but she answered " two people popped up from behind the couch turned on the lights and screamed surprise at me. It made me scared so I ran." Sally said nicely "It was me and Mary we were just saying surprise so we could surprise you that we were already up and ready for your birthday." Kim said "oh I'm sorry I was scared of you. I didn't know." Sally said 'It's ok. Now let's go party!" Because Kim was really poor nobody like her so she didn't have any friends. So it was just her, grammy Sally, and aunt Mary. But Kim had fun real fun. After a long day of partying it was time for bed. Everyone went to bed and Kim went to bed so happily because she had just turned six and was very proud.
