Kim's Life
One day a long time ago there was a little girl named Kim Carson who lived with her grandma Sally in Utah because Kim's parents died but Sally has always told Kim that her parents live far far away and nobody knows where but they really did die. They lived in a very small apartment and were very poor. One day Sally was looking in the newspaper and found the perfect job she would earn $250 per hour and all she had to do was type up two five paragraph articles every day to go in the newspaper. Sally was working on her article and decided it would be about how the poor don't get treated well. They get treated bad she decided it would be about her and her granddaughter Kim's unfair life. She went on and on about it then when she finished Kim came in and said "Grammy what happened to my mommy and daddy?" Sally said "your mother and father live far away and nobody knows where sweetie. I'm so sorry." Kim said " Grammy are they rich and popular." "Oh sweetie they are not rich they were poor very poor." Said Sally "why were they so poor?" asked Kim "they were fired from their jobs and could not get a new job Kim." Said Sally sweetly "Then does that mean that I am poor too?" asked Kim "Honey we are all a little poor but that doesn't mean anything bad we can still live a great life." replied Sally. Kim sat on her bed and thought to herself "Will I truly ever meet my mommy and daddy."
