I went to bed that night, thinking of vampires... Damon.. This has to be a dream, right? This can't be real but I've seen my best friend turn into a werewolf so of course I was use to the supernatural.
I dreamt of Damon that night. I dreamt that he wasn't this bad guy, he was sweet and protective, but that's all a fantasy. That's what I want to believe .

I got up the next morning, earlier than usual. I put vervain in the coffee for Charlie and I.
A vampire's already messing with me, I don't want one messing with my Dad too.
"What did you put in this coffee, Bells?" Charlie asked.
"Oh, just some herbs. Good, huh?" I said, trying to act all cool about it but my heart was racing.
"Yeah, it's pretty good." He said.
"So have you had anymore animal attacks lately?" I asked. Animal attacks meaning Damon.
"No, actually. We did find some bodies in the woods. They were stoner kids. We imagine that it got a little crazy and they started to play with fire." He said.
"Play with fire? You mean they all... burned to death?" I asked.
"Bells, don't worry. We got it covered." Charlie said.
"Ok." I said, sitting down and eating my breakfast.
Charlie got up and put his dishes in the sink. Then, he put on his boots, jacket, and got his gun.
"Oh and Bells? I thought you should hear this from me, um, but Angela has gone missing so, it's probably gonna be a little crazy at school today." He said.
"Wait, so, no sign of her body?" I asked.
"No. I'm sorry Bells. I know she was your first good friend here." He said.
I just nodded and he went out the door.

I headed to school an hour later. I wore my bracelet and I have vervain in my system so, if Damon tries to drink my blood or compel me, he can't.
I got out of my car when I got to the parking lot. I looked around and there was no sign of his car or him.
Just breathe, Bella, I told myself.
I started heading to the doors of my school but then, Damon stood in my way. He startled me.
"You scared me." I said.
"Sorry." He said, and then I stepped around him.
"Where are you going?" Damon asked.
"Class.. where do you think?" I asked.
"You're not going anywhere. You're coming with me." He said, and starred at me for a while, making eye contact. I guess this is compulsion.
"No, I'm not. I'm going to class. I think you should too." I said, turning around, opening the door.
I'm late now. He made me late, great. Maybe I should just skip. I can't be in the same place as him. It scares me.
So, I headed to me car. No sight of him.
I started my truck and began driving. I didn't know where I was driving to, until I noticed where I was heading. La Push.
I stopped at the beach, got out, and just watched the waves.
A little bit later, I heard someone behind me. It was Damon.
