The Wandering Masters

Chapter 1

It was the first day of school. More importantly it was my first day of high school and I was a nervous wreck. My friend Naomi told me it's not that bad but I still had some doubt about it. As I walk into the school I see some of my friends from last year but they aren't friends anymore since over the summer none of them spoke to me and hanged with the wrong crowd but luckily I rode the bus with Naomi so that I can meet her friends so that boost my confidence up a bit. "hey don't worry I'm sure they will like you" Naomi said snapping me out of my thoughts. She wore a galaxy shirt, some shorts, some cat stockings, and wedges. Her hair was cut a bit above her shoulders. I look at her and smile softly nodding "ok" I said as I fix my jacket a bit. I was wearing my old navy jacket with a blue moon wolf shirt and some blue jeans and some memory foam Nike's. My hair was long enough to reach my eyes; my mom didn't approve but I did it anyway. We waked through the cafeteria to the line to get some breakfast. After we did I followed Naomi to her friends I was nervous and happy because I might actually find a group that I would like to hang out with. As I look head I see a group of four, three boys and one girl, the shortest was a kid that rode our bus to get to the school and the one beside him looks like his older brother then there was the girl and the other guy the guy was loving up on the girl but the girl had a look of disgust and hatred on her face that made me chuckle but quickly stop as we got the table. "hey guys I have someone I want you guys to meet this is josh" Naomi said and turned to look at me and show me to them. I squeaked a bit before saying "H-hello I'm josh one of Naomi's friends." They started to study me and I started to get nervous and freak out a bit before I heard Naomi say "hey guys can you stop your making the poor fella uncomfortable" and it made me smile to know she got my back. The others quickly stopped staring and the shortest one said "Heya I'm Caleb nice to meet you" he said with a blank look which I thought was odd. I smile back and his older brother spoke up "I'm josh but you can call me kos" 'kos?' I thought and nodded. The couple looked at me and the girl waved and smiled "I'm Tiana one of Naomi's good friends" I giggled and waved back before I noticed that guy beside her was giving me a death glare that made me retreat slowly behind Naomi. Tiana quickly took notice of this and smack the guy in the head, "Stop scaring the guy Lane he hasn't done anything wrong. He was just being nice and waved back to me." She said with a low growl. The guy rubbed his head nodding and looked at me and sighed "I'm Lane nice to meet you and sorry about scarin you." I quickly nodded and looked at all of them 'they all seem really nice but I'm still a bit scared of lane but I think this might work out' I thought and smiled as me and Naomi sat down at the table. After a while I got to know everyone more and actually learned that josh or kos and Caleb lived near me and Naomi so I can go and hang with them once we become better friends. As we talked the bell rang telling us that first period of the first day is starting. I quickly said bye to everyone and ran to my class knowing this year is going to be very interesting I'm sure of it.
