Skylar, I thought. What an amazing name. I could tell she was nervous, but she talked to me anyways. Thank god, because I don't think I could have gone without knowing who she was. I was walking back from the dodge, where we just had our first conversation, and Jenn came up to me.
"Who was that, Cole?" She asked, in a snotty tone. "Why do you care? It's not like we're dating anymore." I replied, even snottier. "Well I know you're going to come back to me eventually, and I just need to make sure nobody is going to get in the way of that." Jenn whispered to me, before winking and walking away with a smirk.
I walked up to my bestfriend, Jeff, trying not to smile. "Who'd you bang this time?" He asked me, with a sarcastic tone. "Nobody, I just met someone." I replied, flicking him in the head before stealing one of his fries and plopping down beside him. I need to meet her again.
"Who did you meet? Is she hot?" Jeff interviewed me. "Her name is Skylar, she's been here for a while, I just haven't noticed her. She's beautiful." I answered in a gaze. "I'm going to ask her to hang out the next time I see her." I confidently announced.
