Prompt: Okay so two friends going to a party. One wants to go, the other is dragged along. But (plot twist) the one who didn't want to go ends up having a great time and the one who wanted to go ends up alone and not liking it Then BOOM THEY MEET THE LOVE INTEREST

Summary: Minghao dragging Wonwoo to a party, they get inside and Wonwoo immediately disappears with a guy named Mingyu, Minghao is left alone and ends up sitting in the kitchen, he considers leaving when a guy shows up looking for a drink, Minghao gets him one and the guy confesses that he has been watching him the entire night, he introduces himself as Junhui but you can call him Jun, only his close friends call him that...

Writing: Wonwoo was scrolling through his phone pretending not to hear Minghao's whining. "C'mon Wonton you never go out! It's just this one time. I heard a certain Mingyu is supposed to be there..." Minghao prompted, knowing Wonwoo had a small crush on Mingyu. Wonwoo looked up from his phone "I'll go if you shut up." Minghao nodded his head "Sure, you've got 15 minutes to get ready or I'm leaving without you."

30 minutes later, Minghao and Wonwoo were on their way to the party, Wonwoo wearing his favorite black skinny jeans and a tee and Minghao a striped shirt and rolled blue jeans. Minghao was driving and Wonwoo was staring out the window, beginning to question why he agreed to come. Minghao was very observant and noticed Wonwoo's nervousness, speaking to him while keeping his eyes on the road "Hey Wonwoo, just so you know, I texted Mingyu that you were coming and he seemed a little too excited." Wonwoo leg immediately stopped bouncing and turned towards him "Really! I mean, really?" Minghao laughed softly and nodded his head "I think you're going to have a lot of fun." Wonwoo scoffed and turned back towards the window "You sound like a mom." Minghao looked annoyed but smiled anyway "We're here."

Minghao carefully pulled into a spot Wonwoo had no idea how he found. The road was packed with cars, bass pounding from the house. Seungcheol always threw amazing parties, even though he kept everything within reason. Minghao stepped out of the car, navigating his way to the front door, Wonwoo trailing behind. He knocked forcefully three times, it was almost like a code. Seungcheol opened the door and his face lit up at the sight of the pair. Seungcheol's boyfriend, Jeonghan, popped his head out the door "Is that Minghao... And Wonwoo? Hi, I'm so glad you could make it!" Seungcheol laughed and pulled his boyfriend to the side so the pair could come in "Have fun guys, just remember to be careful!" Minghao looked and Wonwoo after they were inside "And you call me a mom, now let's see if we can find that Mingyu of yours!"

Wonwoo scanned the room looking for the person he agreed to come because of when a hand covered his eyes. Thinking it was Minghao, who went to get a drink, he put his hands on top of the ones on his eyes "I didn't know you were so kinky, Ming." Wonwoo heard a deep laugh and knew immediately that he fucked up. He recognized that laugh anywhere, it was the one and only Mingyu. The latter took his hands off Wonwoo's eyes and smirked "Well hello to you too Wonwoo." Wonwoo suddenly felt his face heat up "That was an accident Mingyu" He laughed and retorted "Was it truly?" Wonwoo blushed deeper and stuttered out "N-no." Mingyu laughed and put his arm around Wonwoo and asked "Do you want to go somewhere quieter to talk?" Wonwoo was flustered and nodded, letting Mingyu take him to a quiet corner of the house where they talked for most of the night.

Minghao grabbed a beer from the fridge and wandered back to the spot he told Wonwoo to wait. He sighed as he watched Mingyu lead a blushing Wonwoo away. "Kids these days." Minghao made his way back to the kitchen and sat on one of the high stools, having the feeling of being watched. He shook it off, thinking that he was crazy. As he sat nursing his beer, he groaned as Seungkwan and Vernon maneuvered themselves through the crowd towards him. The issue was that they refused to let go of each other so the result was a lot of sass and some confusion. When they finally arrived at Minghao, Seungkwan was thoroughly pissed and Vernon was attempting to calm him. Minghao ran a hand through his hair "Hey guys." Seungkwan stopped yelling and turned towards Minghao "Hey Minghao, you looked kinda dejected so I thought we should come see if you you're okay." Minghao smiled and stated "I was going to hang out with Wonwoo but he's gone off with Mingyu, I don't think they'll be done here anytime soon." Vernon cut in "You can hang out with Seungkwan and I!" Minghao answered bluntly "I would prefer not to try to hold conversation while you are busy shoving your tongue down Seungkwan's throat." Seungkwan looked scandalized and Vernon had a look that said "Sorry bro" on his face. Minghao waved goodbye weakly as they caught sight of someone else they wanted to show their relationship too.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when a finger lightly tapped his shoulder. He turned to see a blonde haired boy looking down at him. The boy smirked a little and asked "Do you know where I can get a drink?" Minghao gave him a withering look and pointed at the fridge. The blonde smiled wider and grabbed a drink, plopping down next to Minghao "My name is Junhui, what about you?" Minghao looked slightly surprised that someone was talking to him "Minghao." Junhui nodded and admitted "So I've had my eye on you the entire night and I was wondering why such a cute boy was left alone." Minghao blushed and immediately knew how Wonwoo felt "Thank you, you're not too bad yourself." Junhui chuckled and pretended to look offended "Not too bad, I thought I was handsome!" Minghao stuck his tongue out at him "Fine, you're handsome." Junhui laughed and Minghao joined him.

The banter between the pair continued into the late hours of the party, when most of the people had gone home and it was just the people who had not listened to Seungcheol and drank a little too much. Jeonghan found Wonwoo and Mingyu in a corner of the house. Wonwoo was trying to get Mingyu to let him braid his hair "C'mon Gyu, it'll be fun!" Mingyu adamantly refused but smiled at the nickname "Fun for you maybe, do you know how long it took to do this hair?" Jeonghan whispered loud enough for them to hear "Cute." Wonwoo whipped his head around "How long have you been here?" Mingyu laughed and said "Watch yourself, you might get whiplash" That earned him a slap from Wonwoo and Jeonghan wondered if him and Seungcheol were this bad when they first started dating. "Um guys, the party is kinda over soooo" Mingyu looked up at Jeonghan and said "We'll be down in a minute, thanks Jeonghan!"

After Jeonghan left, Mingyu got up and held his hand out for Wonwoo to take. He took it will a smile and got up, pulling Mingyu towards the the door out of the room. They continued holding hands down the stairs and into the kitchen, where Junhui and Minghao had gotten considerably closer over the time. Wonwoo smiled and called out "Minghao, who is this?" Minghao turned and his face lit up "This is Junhui, Junhui this is Wonwoo." Junhui smiled and waved "So you're the guy who ditched Minghao for Mingyu, who I'm assuming is the person holding your hand!" Wonwoo looked sheepish and stated "That's the one, Sorry Minghao" Minghao nodded his head in understanding "Nah it's fine, I wouldn't have met Junhui if you didn't leave me. I see you were off having fun with Mingyu instead." Mingyu thanked Minghao "Thank you for dragging him here." Minghao shook his head "Wonwoo only agreed when I told him you were going to be here." Wonwoo glared at Minghao as Mingyu burst out laughing. In the corner taking it all in was Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Vernon and Seungkwan. Seungcheol sighed and wrapped his arm around Jeonghan's waist, saying "I'm so glad we had this party today, it took forever for them to get together, right Vernon?" Vernon didn't hear him because he was kind of busy making out with Seungkwan. Jeonghan fake gagged and kissed Seungcheol on the cheek "This is going to be interesting..."

A/N: I wrote this on a whim because I was screaming about Kpop with my friends and I've had this idea in my mind for a while. It's probably shit because I wrote this in one day and it's keeping me from doing my homework so I'm going  to go do that bye!
