I look at myself in the mirror, the black dress that Dylan bought me is what I'm wearing with some black heals that match the dress well. My hair is straightened and I didn't have some makeup so Dylan found some of his older sister's makeup that she left behind and I put some on.

"Ready to go?" Dylan stops by my door and I look myself once more.

I nod and turn to him.
What could go wrong?
The car ride was short and I see some people outside the house where the party is going on.

I get off and wait for Dylan.
"Breath Maddie, let's go have some fun." He wraps his hand around waist.

I take a deep breath and we walk inside. Instantly the strong odor of Alcohol and Marijuana is present.

"Dylan! Glad you could make it. Oh shit, is that Maddie?" Zach turns to me.

"I guess so." I make it for Zach to hear the ought the loud music.

"Damn smart move Dylan." Zach says before he gets pulled in some group photos to broadcast to social media.

"You want something to drink?" He asks me.
"Water?" I say back.

"Stay here." He lightly clutches my wrist then goes towards the drinks area. I jut look around but it was a big mistake.

I fee a huge imprint on my face and I travel to the right. I cup the left side of my face and look towards who just punched me.

Kylie.

Anger boils dramatically fast and I re-establish my balance.
She charges towards me again this time I'm not letting her hit me. She throws a second punch and I catch it, my Palm on top of her knuckles and I twist her wrist the wrong way, I hear her shriek and I kick the side of her knee and she falls and I get on top of her.

"Who's the bitch now Kylie!" I scream at her. I punch her once before someone pulls me away.

That felt really good, like some sort of release.
"You okay?" Dylan runs towards me and checks me over.

"I'm fine." I say and smile widely. I turn around to see Kylie walking out of the house.

"Good job." I hear him say. Which makes me laugh.

He pulled me into a room upstairs.

"I totally just did that!" I exclaim.

"Yes you did Maddie." Dylan responds eager.
"Ohmygod, that was crazy I just fought back! Me, out of all people hit back!" I cover my mouth. Shit! I just did that.

He didn't respond, he just smiled and watched me growing super confident.
"You wanna ditch this place?" He asks.

"Yes." I quickly answer, before we knew it we left the party and going to a different place. He stopped at a coffee shop and opened the door for me. I got out and thanked him for the kind gesture. I was a bit worried that the people inside were going to look at me weird if I came in looking like a street walker, lucky for us no one was inside.

"I'll have a chocolate mocha and you Maddie?" He turns to me.

"Uh, A Caramel Latte please?" I say my order.
The woman said the price for the two coffees and Dylan handed the woman the money. He told the lady to keep the change and we sit down near the windows, just to the right we could see the city light up.

"I wonder what will happen at school." I slightly mutter.
"That you totally gave her what she deserved, I know. Everyone is going to be talking." He holds both of my hands.

"That's good, I suppose." I lightly laugh.

"I called some people to clean up your house." He says.
"Oh,Okay."I look down and let go of his hands.
"I though that was what you needed help with.."he lightly said.

"No,no. That was.Dont think of it the wrong way." I try to not make it worse.

"Okay." He says and some small silence fills the booth. The lady comes with our drinks.
"Thank you." I thank her and so does Dylan.

"Remember when we were both sick and still went to that vacation in Florida?" I bring up an old memory.

He chuckles and remembers it. That summer was before the seperation of my parents had begun, we both got the flu and we didn't tell our parents about it and my mom let me go with Dylan and his family to Florida, even tho we were sick we went on the rides at universal studios and had the time of my life.

"You almost threw up in the carousel." He adds in.

"No I didn't, that was what you were going to do." I exclaim and take a sip of my warm drink.

"Well not that I recall." He puts his hand to his chin, motioning his difficult thinking.

"And remember the fireworks at night?" I say and I remember that night perfectly, the sky filled with all those beautiful colors igniting.

"I do,they were amazing." He compliments that night.

Dylan's phone goes off.
"Hello?" He answers.
I just watch his expression change to a worried look.

"Now? I'm with Maddie at a Coffee shop." He says but gets cut off by the person speaking.

"Okay bye." He hangs up.
"Who was it?" I ask.
"My mom,she wants us home right now." He gets up from the booth and sets down a very good tip for the waitress. We leave the coffee shop and get in the car and drive home.

"Did she sound angers, through the phone?" I ask him.
"I don't know." He surpasses the speed limit. It didn't bother  me and we got home pretty quickly. Dylan gave me his jacket to cover myself up, the dress was pretty short and his jacket certainly helped.

We entered the house quickly. Dyla's parents were discussing something with two guests and their conversation stopped when we came in.

"You two take a seat." Mrs.O'Brien spoke quietly.

Me and Dylan exchanged looks and did what his mother said.

"Maddie, we love having you here and you are always welcome here but I'm afraid that the state has found you another home to stay in, just for a few days until we resolve an issue." She says.

"What's the issue? If you don't mind me asking." I say to her.

This is where the guest comes in.
"Maddie if you could just leave with us,we'll discuss the issue when we're in on the way." The two men stand up and start walking to the door.

"What? I-I need to pack my things-"

"We'll get your things in the morning."
Id hate to be the one to make a dramatic exit with those two men dragging me out of the house.

"You can't do that." Dylan stands up, for me.
"Dylan it's fine. I'll see you tomorrow."I say to him.
I stand up and walk over to the guys.
"Thank you Mr. and Mrs.O'Brien, for everything." I wave to them.

Dylan is just heartbroken, I leave with the two men and his face was just awful. He was shocked, pissed and sad all at the same time.

I get in the car and watch the house shrink.
