That night after the hunt, every wolf is sleeping in their dens. Tummys are now full, no longer empty.

My mother sleeps peacefully along side of me. I snuggle into her soft, warm undercoat. I take deep breaths. Until .... Until a gust of wind sweeps into the den. I shiver. My mother slowly wakes up and notices me shivering. " Are you okay honey?" My mother asks " J-J-Just a little cold" I say with my teeth chattering away. She wraps me up in her thick tail for extra warmth.

Just when we thought it was peaceful, snow began to fall again. We didn't think anything of I until it made a thick wall against our den. We could no longer see outside of the den. We were trapped in. I nudge my mother as her eyes were closed " Mama!" I whine " Mama!" She opens her blue eyes " Yes Sweety ?" She asks " We are trapped in "I whine loudly " Calm down calm down" she pulls me closer " I will find a way to get us out I promise!" She licks my muzzle " And.... If we don't ..... Uhh.... Find ... A way... Then... What?" I growl slightly  but she places a paw over my muzzle  to get me to stop growling " Don't say that please I will get us both out" She stands up to stretch as goes to the wall of snow and begins a to dig at it. I get up and walk next to her and begin to help dig. I giggle as the snow makes a blanket over my back paws.
