Ch.3

~Your POV~

(Lunch time)

I zoned out during my last class. I know I should've paid attention since it's my first day, but the two gorgeous girls, that have caught my eyes, have yet to leave my mind. Dinah likes to challenge and test me, yet I can tell she's goofy and sweet with a beautiful smile. Normani is shy, but I can tell its just a one time thing, probably because we've just met. She seems like an outgoing and brave girl and her smile, just like Dinah's, is amazing.

I was so spaced out that I failed to realize that half of the class was already gone.

I guess it's lunch time...

Realizing this made me realize that I get to see Normani again.

I quickly jump out of my seat, grab my binder, shove it into my book bag and bolt out the door. I remember seeing the cafeteria on my way to my first class, so I make my way there to find Normani.

After arriving at the cafeteria I pause in the door way, looking for Normani. I scan the whole cafeteria but I stop as my eyes land on the dark skinned beauty from earlier, laughing at something her friend had said. I smile to myself and start on my walk over to her. She still had yet to notice my presence, when I arrived, standing just behind her chair. Her friend across from her, who had the most interesting and prettiest green eyes, noticed me first and pointed me out, causing Normani to turn around.

"Y/N!" Her eyes light up and she smiled as she called my name.

Man, she's too cute...

"Hey, Normani." I couldn't help but smile at the girl.

"How did you find us?"

"Well...I stood in the doorway looking for that gorgeous smile, the same one that caught my eye this morning in the office. When I found it I came right over just to see it a little closer."

You're getting comfortable with this confidence....keep it up, Y/N...

I look down and I see her trying to hide her face and her friends just smiling and laughing at her.

She didn't respond at first, she just pulled me to sit with her. I laughed as she tried to hide her face by looking away from me.

"The purpose of me coming over here was to see you, princess. You're not gonna hide from me the whole time are you?"

She just shook her head, still looking away from me. I sigh and gently grab her chin, pulling her to face me.

"Look at me, Princess. I want to see your face, not the back of your head."

I say this, slightly laughing, causing her to giggle and I notice her trying to fight the urge to hide her face again. I just pull her into a hug and let her hide her face in my neck. My body tenses as I realize I haven't hugged her before now.

"It is okay if I hug you right?"

I feel her nod. I give her a few more minutes to hide and then she starts to pull away from the hug.

"Uhh, sorry I never introduced you guys. That's Ally," she pointed to the shortest girl, who was literally all smiles, "and that's Camila and Lauren."

She pointed to a girl with dark brown hair, who was eating a banana and then the girl with the green eyes from earlier.

"Nice to meet you!" I got a chorus of "same to you's" and then Normani said another thing...

"Oh! Dinah is suppose to be here but she had to drop off a late paper to the history teach- never mind she's here!"

"Hey, guys! Hey, Y/N." I didn't miss the way she said her greeting to me differently.

"Hey, FutureWife."

"Wait, you guys know each other?"

Normani.

Crap...

"Yeah, we bumped into each other and she caught my eye as well..." I'm not gonna play around. These girls are gonna hear the truth, I'm not lying to them. They don't deserve to be lied to.

"So...you show interest in me and then flirt with another girl?"

"Ok, yes, but hear me out! I like both of you for a reason and I'm not gonna hide it from you girls either. I promise it's only you guys. I'll explain the whole thing if you guys agree to hang out and talk to me after school....today."

They seemed hesitant but they both agreed...eventually.

"Okay, now can we just act as we have been since this morning and can you guys not be mad at me....please? Princess? Baby Girl?"

They both blush and try to hide their faces but slowly nod their heads. I let out a breath that I wasn't aware I was holding and pull them both into my sides.

"Thank you. You girls will seriously understand everything when we talk, I promise. You can ask all the questions you want later on."

"Okay."

"Sounds good."
