Aiden liked the atmosphere of the premiere. There were hundreds of people, all screaming with joy and excitement. The people around Aiden, however, weren't so happy. They were all desperately trying to get the best photos at the best angles of the people who were walking down the red carpet. Aiden stood between masses of people, his arm resting on one of the stands for the black velvet rope that separated the journalists and photographers from the celebrities.
The sound of excited screams mixed with the unique sound of the camera flashes was loud in Aiden's ears. So much so that he found it hard to hear the celebrities being interviewed near him. There were people constantly moving through the red carpet. He tried to take as many photos as he could. He was lucky to be standing so close to the carpet.
Next to him was a reporter whose camera man was holding a camera so large that he wondered if his back was sore. Aiden heard distinct screams of the word Pierce. He looked around until he saw them. Pierce Fletcher was close by, walking down the carpet with his arm around his wife. Pierce was wearing a suit that looked more expensive than anything Aiden ever dreamed to own, with a bright blue tie. His wife's dress was the same colour as the tie, with elegant beading covering the gown from her shoulders all the way down to the floor. The most noticeable thing about her dress, however, was the huge bump that she was cradling with one of her hands.
"Pierce! Pierce!" the people around him screamed. Aiden felt like he wanted to cover his ears to escape the sound, however he was busy taking photos.
The couple slowly made their way further down the carpet. They stopped a few times to talk to reporters. Aiden couldn't keep the smile from his face as they stopped almost in front of him. They started talking to the journalist next to him. Aiden felt so star struck. He had seen Pierce Fletcher in so many movies and to see him in real life was so exciting. Aiden snapped photos of them both. Pierce's jet black hair was slicked back, making his blue eyes look even brighter. He was taller than Aiden had thought he would be. His wife, however, was almost as tall as him, something else Aiden hadn't expected. She was however, a model, and those women were known to be tall. She had shoulder length dark hair that was curled loosely. Her skin was light, making her dress stand out even more on her body. Eden's high cheek bones and huge lips made her look like she had just stepped out of a high fashion magazine. Aiden wasn't surprised the two of them were married, they were both very attractive.
"You're glowing!" the reporter told Eden.
Eden unconsciously looked down at her huge belly. "Thank-you, I feel like a beached whale, but thank-you!" she replied with a small laugh.
Pierce smiled over at his wife. "I think you look stunning," Pierce told her.
The reporter suddenly got a huge smile on her face. "You two are so sweet," she cooed at them. "What can you tell me about this new movie?"
Pierce pulled his arm back from his wife's shoulders and delved into conversation with the reporter. Eden took a few steps towards Aiden, her gaze pointed downwards.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked over the sound of the crowd behind him.
Eden looked up. She had a little smile on her face. "My feet are killing me," she admitted. Her British accent was strong. "I don't think I've ever been this uncomfortable in heels."
Aiden smiled at her. "Oh no. Well, you do look stunning tonight."
"Thank-you." Eden pushed a few curls behind her ear. "Do you think anyone would notice if I took my shoes off?"
Aiden looked down at her long dress, the fabric almost touching the floor. "Honestly, probably not."
Eden laughed. "What am I thinking? I'll be a laughing stock if I carry my own heels down the red carpet!"
