"OMG, Demi, I love you!", I screamed in a high pitch.
Demi had just stepped off the stage of her soundcheck for her performance tomorrow on New Years Eve here in Niagara Falls, Canada. She was making her way through the crowd when she heard me.
She came up to me and my friends and she was like to me, "Oh my God, I love your hair! You look so cute, sweetie!", she squealed while running her fingers in my hair.
Aahhh!!! Demi is touching my hair. I can't believe this is happening. I am standing here frozen head to toe and Demi is brushing her warm, soft hands through my hair.
"Thank you, Demi", I said shyly with a smile on my face.
"Hey, would you and your friends like some hot chocolate? My team got Tim Hortons?", asked Demi
"Sure", I said looking at my friends behind if they wanted some. They all nodded their heads with excitement.
Can't believe Demi is giving us hot chocolate! Omg!
Her team came around and started handing them out. A lady had a tray of hot chocolate and gave them to each of us. Demi took one for herself. She took a sip out of her cup.
"Wow! Never had hot chocolate that tasted this good before. *Sips* Oh my God. *Sips* So good!!", she moaned. My friends and I laughed.
Demi looked at us and smiled like she doesn't know what's going on. "What?", she said.
"Oh my Gosh! You are so cute, Demi!", screamed one of my friends. Demi laughed again.
"Well, it was great meeting you guys! Bye!", said Demi waving us goodbye.
I knew this would make me sound clingy, but I wasn't not done talking to my idol. So I called her by using my diaphragm, because my voice can sound quiet even when I'm yelling at times.
"Wait! Demi!"
Demi turned her head and made her way back to us.
"I just want to say that you are an amazing person and thank you so much for spreading awareness for mental illness. You're partly the reason why I'm still living to this day."
"Aw, that's so sweet. Thanks, honey.", said Demi hugging me. "Stay strong! Happy New Year's Eve, eh?" We all laughed. With that, she headed backstage.
